    FES&P Graduate

    Main purpose of the role

    The FES Young Graduate is responsible for coaching, training, implementing and maintaining the Faurecia Excellence System tools deployment.

    Essential responsibilities and duties

    As a FES&P Graduate, your main responsibilities are as follow :

    • Using their industrial knowledge, contribute to the building of the FES plan
    • As set within the FES plan, support the pilots in the application of FES methodologies and tools through their active participation on the shopfloor thus providing training and coaching to Plant personnel
    • FES Principles and Standards: Managers ensure the correct daily usage of the FES standards; FES department ensures FES standards are used
    • Transfer their knowledge and experience to Plant Personnel through, in particular, shopfloor improvement activities
    • Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company
    • You are required to abide by the Faurecia Code of Ethics. This is included in your new starter documentation. This is summarized below:
    • Respect for fundamental rights
    • Development of economic and social dialogue

    Qualifications and position requirements

    • Relevant degree or equivalent in Engineering
    • Computer literate including MS office

    Production Control and Logistics Graduate

    Main purpose of the role

    The role of a PC&L Graduate is to verify that production line delivery aligns with minimum stock targets and logistics costs

    Essential responsibilities and duties

    As PC&L graduate, your main responsibilities are as follow:

    • Build up the Procurement Program by dividing and levelling piece procurements
    • Follow up the Procurement Program realization by managing alert systems and follow the unloading, receipt and transportation of pieces.
    • Follow supplier delivery performance (supplier Misdeliveries Per Million) and the service of logistics partners and propose appropriate improvement action plans.
    • Achieve the transportation program on a monthly basis and the transportation scheme semi-annually.
    • Direct packaging management.
    • Ensure that logistics conventions comply with purchasing objectives and support conditions set by suppliers for procurement and packaging and by logistics partners for transport and services.
    • Verify that Sales and Production Plan (PIC) capacity requirements can be supported by suppliers and implement corrective actions when necessary. 

    Qualifications and position requirements

    The ideal candidate will have/be :

    Education : National Diploma/Degree in Purchasing/Logistics/Engineering

    Skills and competencies:

    • Advanced numerical skills
    • Strong Microsoft pack office skills (ppt,…) and reporting skills
    • SAP basics or knowledge is a plus
    • Business international mindset
    • Knowledge of productivity / lean management methodology
    • Knowledge of production, quality management and logistics

    ME Trainee/Intern

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    The ME Graduate supports the ME Team in the deployment of the manufacturing and engineering activities of the plant and deploys according to Group’s policy.

    The main missions of the role are to:

    • To assist all PPTL’s in all manufacturing & engineering processes.

    • Support with the FES Deployment (ME & Maintenance)

    • To take part in all new projects and existing projects.

    • Rollout of equipment care in the plant.

    • To participate in QRCI’s.

    Assisting in all plant layouts.

     QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    The ideal candidate will have/be:

    • B-Tech or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

    • Academic results above 70% in their final year whilst maintaining a 60% average over the duration of their studies.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Power Point, Word

    • Strong written and oral communications skills

    • Results-oriented, committed team-player

    • Willingness to grow in a high-pressure environment

    • International mindset

    • Fluent in English

    • Available to commence work immediately if successful

    • Must have SA citizenship

    IT Trainee/Intern

    Main purpose of the role

    The role of a Local IT is to support the IT Manager to implement and maintain the Faurecia standards as defined by Group.

    Essential responsibilities and duties

    As an IT Graduate, your main responsibilities are as follows:

    • Give the technical and functional first level support to the users, assuming the resolution of all kind of IT incidents reported by the users.  Monitor the helpdesk for new incidents and requests and action as a priority.
    • Monitor Security Indicators and correct and resolve non-conformances as a priority
    • Prepare new PCs and Laptops for use on the network according to Faurecia standard installation policies.
    • Assist the IT Manager with administration tasks.  These could include, but are not limited to, backup/restore procedures, office application support, ERP support, hardware support, network support, monitoring of critical systems and processes, after hour support.
    • Ensure the ownership of the System by the user. If necessary, co-ordinate training to users and ensure application of the procedures.
    • Ensure the adherence of Group standards, especially concerning hardware, software, security policies, software licenses control, inventory, etc.
    • Apply IT procedures specific to the site
    • Maintain and update site IT site documentation continuously to ensure its accuracy.

     
    Qualifications and Experience

    • Tertiary qualification with specialisation in Information Technology or currently studying towards it.
    • Industry related courses completed (A+, N+, MCSE, MCP, MOUS, Cisco, etc.)
    • Ability to communicate
    • Valid drivers license and own transport
    • Excellent communication skills (English mandatory, other languages advantageous)
    • Excellent people and teamwork skills
    • Outgoing personality, ability to interact with all levels of employees
    • Must be prepared to work shifts if required now or in the future
