    FES Trainee/Intern

    The main missions of the role are:

    At Plant level, provide FES expertise (HSE, Quality, EE, PC&L and Production system) based on 11 lean manufacturing principles to contribute to achieve operational business targets

    • Follow up on the FES deployment plan, to support the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP) execution.
    • Provide, according to the needs, FES knowledge and skills to the plant team through training, coaching and education.

    Contribute to the Plant MOD cost budget construction & achievement, through efficient “MOD cost management” & “MOD cost improvement plan”.

    • MOD Cost Management at Plant level:
    • Ensure routing and coefficient data management methodology is correctly applied and respected.
    • Ensure DLE/DLP tracking process linked with the DL cost % results
    • MOD cost improvement:
    • Support the implementation of FES improvement tools for production reliability, changeover Standards (flexibility), reduction of Line stoppages, Line balancing, and overall MOD efficiency.
    • Ensure identification of MOD “Productivity Potential.
    • Contribute to the lead time reduction though the implementation of continuous flow, layout optimization, pull-system and speed up flows.

    Support FES network Animation in the plant

    • Contribute to deploy FES culture at Supervisors & GAP Leader level
    • Propose and promote best practices within the Plant (FES Network)
    • Participate in Division level workshops to test the new” lean concept” or advanced tools.

    Your profile and competencies to succeed
    Qualification/s

    The minimum qualification/s required for this position is/are:

    • Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Business or Engineering related field.

    Knowledge & Experience

    • Minimum 1 year of working experience within a production environment

    Skills & Competencies

    • Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety & Environment skills
    • Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skills
    • Strong computer knowledge and skills
    • Continuous improvement mind set
    • Innovation and change management skills
    • Understand basic P&L and operational levers.
    • Fluent English language knowledge written and spoken.
    • Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans

    Local IT Manager

    Your main mission

    • The Local IT Manager is responsible for managing the daily IT operations and local projects to ensure smooth functioning of the site's technology environment. This includes maintaining and supporting the site's infrastructure, such as networks, servers, and end-user devices, as well as ensuring the availability and performance of local applications. They serve as the first point of contact for technical issues, providing timely support and troubleshooting. The role also involves coordinating with central IT teams to implement global standards and initiatives at the site level.

    The essential responsibilities and duties:

    • Monitor the local IT infrastructure while ensuring the expected availability and security of the systems.
    • Provide technical and functional support to first-level site users.
    • Ensure the implementation of Forvia’s IT standards, particularly concerning authorized hardware and software.
    • Ensure that security updates are effectively applied to the site hardware through cybersecurity indicator monitoring.
    • Manage the inventory of IT equipment on-site and anticipate infrastructure and machine replacements.
    • Ensure the update of the documentation for supporting the local information system.
    • Define and manage the site's IT budget.
    • Ensure the effectiveness of IT "backup" modes through regular tests and reporting.
    • Provide support for critical applications.
    • Participate in raising user awareness about security issues and the use of standard IT solutions.
    • Actively contribute to incident resolution and communicate progress to the site.
    • Analyze issues to identify root causes and organize associated documentation (QRCI, LLS).
    • Support the technical evolution of local solutions and participate in evaluating new solutions.
    • Support digital transformation initiatives for the site.
    • This position requires on-call and occasional weekend work.

    Your profile and competencies to succeed
    Qualifications and skills

    • Master's degree in IT or significant experience.
    • 3 to 5 years' experience in IT operations.
    • Manufacturing systems support: Traceability, Manufacturing, JIT, EDI.
    • Good knowledge of networks
    • Good knowledge of server systems (Windows/Linux) and virtualization
    • Knowledge of databases
    • Customer service skills (internal/external)
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Good level of English language
