Position Summary

- Working at Head Office as a Reporting Controller you will be responsible for all Decision Support and Control activities within Nestlé in the Market including production and distribution of timely, accurate and relevant management reporting and analysis, ensuring functional leadership on controlling and coordination with business and co-pilots.
A day in the life a Reporting Controller:
- Drive the Management Reporting process to provide all required reporting necessary to deliver transparent and timely information and ensure quality of processes and outputs, which in scope of:
- Coordinate accurate consolidation and timely submission of Magnitude packages and OSOT within Group deadlines (SACT, PACT, MASH, DF, PICA, SCOM) and other market reporting under BPR

- Ensure the accuracy, integrity and consistency of Markets’ financial reporting in full compliance with NAS to Group Reporting and Control
- Business planning:
- Lead business planning process - Operational Plan, Dynamic Forecast and annual budget
- Coordinate DF consolidation and monitoring to ensure the achievement of financial objectives
- Quantify risks/ opportunities from gap analysis
- Provide support for Market Business & Strategy
- Operational control :
- Monitor PFME spending and proactively coordinate with Business Controllers to managed spending expectation
- Consolidate marketing activity / PFME of NIM businesses, including PFME related information for monthly business review presentation and NIMCOM
- Provide support for various analysis/ alternative to support decision-making process (e.g. consolidate PFME report, post evaluation, etc).
- Support business co-pilots for business planning process by providing history information PFME by type/channel/BU/product
- Performing analysis regarding Strategic Revenue Management
- Provide ad-hoc support and analysis to Business units and Corporate Functions in the areas of PFME and marketing Activities
- Other ad hoc analysis as and when required

- A day in the life of a Warehouse Manager:
WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS
- To plan, execute, manage & control the daily operations of storing, picking, and replenishing.
- Ensure that warehouse floor space and height capacity are utilized to its maximum potential.
- Monitor and ensure all Warehouse building and premises maintenance is attended to timeously and safely.
- Ensure that the targeted OBD’s for Freight, Export and Transport Departments are picked up, checked and invoiced each day by shift in accordance with the priority listing.
- Ensure incoming vehicles are all off-loaded in accordance with the planning schedule set up by Receiving.
- Ensure that goods received daily by receiving and GRA are captured into the stock mainstream and put away accurately, and without delay, to avoid being out of stock, and optimize service levels
- Ensure that stock losses / gains are minimized to Factory's agreed objective.
- Ensure that Ageing Stock reports are monitored and reacted on closely and write off documents raised timely with FICO support
- Ensure that warehouse stock damages are managed to agreed standards and disposed of and accounted for as per procedures. Ensure effective operation of stock rotation system (F.I.F.O.)
- Ensure premises are secured and safe at end of shift. Ensure that all internal systems and procedures are in place and adhered to.
FIXED COST BUDGET
- Prepare annual fixed cost budget for Department. Manage this budget to ensure targets are achieved. Authorize expenditure through the SAP Purchasing system. Perform revisions on budget as and when required. Report on variances and maintain status
- Prepare Capex budget for the financial year for Warehouse equipment. Prepare Long Term Planning Budget.
DATA ACCURACY
- As a data enterer, capture complete, accurate data and as per data standard on time to the relevant system. Adhere to the best practices for data management and business excellence.
BAD GOODS MANAGEMENT
- Manage the control of Bad Goods within the warehouse. Manage the recording and removal of all Bad Goods ex Warehouse
- Ensure company Policy with regard write off is strictly adhered to Responsible for monthly Stats and Reporting ex warehouse.
HOUSEKEEPING
- Actively encourage and ensure Nestle housekeeping standards. Direct the daily cleaning of the Warehouse by an external cleaning company. Ensure planned and effective infestation controls are in place and performed by external pest control service provider.
HEALTH AND SAFETY (RISK MANAGEMENT)
- Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Actively participate on SHE committee and encourage Health and Safety among subordinates. Enforce SHE policies and procedures in the workplace and ensure adherence thereto. Ensure racking inspections are performed daily and monthly, documented and corrective action taken where required. Ensure stacking height limitations are adhered to. Ensure contingency plans are in place and practiced with regard firefighting and evacuations. Ensure that planned maintenance is carried out on all key installations e.g. standby generator, fire detection system, sprinkler system
- Co assists the Security Manager in ensuring systems and procedures are in place to prevent and control stock losses.
MECHANICAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT
- Ensure that all mechanical handling equipment is maintained and serviced as per supplier’s specifications or agreed compan standards.
- Ensure that daily inspections are performed and recorded. Ensure that all Operators are correctly licensed and trained to operate relevant equipment.
STAFF MANAGEMENT
- Provide effective motivation and leadership. Apply Nestle Management and Leadership principles. Communicate all relevant business information to staff. Perform continuous Knowledge Transfer of stock handling and other disciplines. Apply and ensure application of HR policies and procedures Time and attendance and overtime control/authorization utilization. KRONOS and ESS.
- Participate in the recruitment process for the department. Implement and manage Performance Plans for direct reports
- Set KPI’s and manage these for the Department. Perform appraisals as and when required. Arrange Training and Development identified.
