Job Description
This role manages a sales team and distribution strategy and is accountable for the sales targets and profitability of the team, over periods of up to a year.
The position has been identified as a FAIS position and falls within the ambit contemplated by FAIS related to Category B. The successful candidates must therefore comply with all FAIS requirements, including the Fit and Proper requirements of Honesty and Integrity (e.g. be clear of any offence relating to fraud, dishonesty and/or any professional misconduct) as well as competence and relevant qualifications.

This role is individually accountable for identifying and closing profitable, value adding leasing deals for new branches and renewals on OMF's retail portfolio, Private Client portfolios and ad hoc client portfolios through own efforts
- As Leasing Specialist, the day to day management of various geographical property portfolios, assigned to a Leasing Consultant taking into account market related role benchmarking as captured in the Performance Contracts main KPI’s.
- Identifies and concludes client briefed strategically valued leasing transactions in various portfolios for:
- new retail branches and commercial offices
- relocations, enlargements, footprint reductions, closures and
- renewals.
- Concludes above leasing transactions on terms and conditions in accordance with client mandates.
- Identifies property trends for opportunities. Identifies and resolves problematic vacancies for portfolio clients. Develops and maintains customer / industry networks to maximize lead identification.
