    Triton Express: Zone Controller

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Supervising pre-delivery loading procedures by:

    • Collecting and sorting waybills according to route requirements
    • Checking cargo for damage, shortages and verifies waybill against cargo stickers
    • Scanning numbers for delivery and collection lists
    • Scanning parcels into trucks for delivery
    • Supervising cargo loading, ensuring handling and safety compliance
    • Identifying COD's and follow through collections of such COD's
    • Liaising with clients as and when required

    Monitoring delivery and collection procedures by:

    • Conducting bay checks, investigates non-deliveries, completes bay schedule – daily
    • Monitoring daily and ad hoc collections and provides collection instructions via radio
    • Responding to delivery and collection clears and resolving queries
    • Liaising with clients regarding collection / delivery information, data and instructions
    • Monitoring vehicle activity using satellite tracking system

    Supervising of vehicle debriefing/ offloading procedures by:

    • Directing parcel sorting into destination / location area
    • Verifying waybills against parcels and stickers
    • Scanning parcels into Freightware by waybill and submits to data capturers
    • Checking scanning on system
    • Checking cargo dimensions and weight on receipt of collections at the depot
    • Recording cheques received in Zone File and submits to data captured daily
    • Verifying all documents in terms of documents being signed off correctly, and waybill numbers appear correctly

    Providing team maintenance by:

    • Providing instructions, handling complaints, queries, training team members, counseling and motivating improved performance of team members

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12 minimum (Matric)
    • 3 – 4 years in freight / transportation 
    • Ability to converse in both English / Afrikaans language
    • Ability to do arithmetic calculations
    • Industry specific experience is not a prerequisite, but would assist 
    • A basic understanding of a store / warehousing environment
    • A good understanding of transportation routing within area of operation
    • A good understanding of freight packaging requirements and load distribution
    • A basic technical understanding of motor vehicles and general traffic ordinances
    • Computer literate – basic understanding of Freight ware or similar management system
    • A unendorsed valid driver’s code 10
    • Ability to work unsociable hours as and when required in order to meet clients’ needs
    • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
    • Ability to communicate on all levels – both internally and externally
    • Ability to work unsupervised the majority of the time

    Starke Ayres: Driver Light Motor Vehicle

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assists and supervises the loading of the delivery vehicle.
    • Checks that all goods loaded are in line with the Delivery Notes and sign for acceptance of load.
    • Checks goods when off loading with the customer against the Delivery Note, and ensures that the customer signs the copy of the Delivery Note as Proof of Delivery. (POD’s). Any goods found short must be listed and signed for by the customer.
    • Collects payment from the customer in the event of COD orders.
    • Ensures that all goods delivered are in a clean and saleable condition with regard to packaging, general appearance and neatness.
    • Hands in all P.O.D’s / COD monies to the Depot / Stores / Despatch Supervisor on his return to the Warehouse. 
    • Collects returns as listed on a Goods Return Voucher (GRV’s) as and when required to do so.
    • Hands in all goods and GRV’s to the Depot/Stores/Dispatch Supervisor on his return to the Warehouse.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (Essential)
    • Drivers License Code 8 (essential) Code 10 (preferential)
    • Valid PDP License (preferential)
    • Must be willing to work overtime

    Mascor Toyota: Stock Controller

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    STOCK CONTROL & ADMINISTRATION

    • Process all vehicles into stock.
    • Ensure timeous stock procurement of new vehicles.
    • Generate external orders for New & Used vehicles and process and receive invoices.
    • Generate internal WIP’s for vehicles
    • Stock management – ensure all vehicles required to be on floorplan are processed.
    • Stock Management – Ensure all vehicles have stock number stickers placed on vehicles
    • Stock management – Ensure all vehicles keys, service books are stored correctly.
    • Ensure trade in vehicles requiring reconditioning’s orders are processed timeously and logistics is managed timeously.
    • Conduct a weekly stock take
    • Ensure that vehicle settlements are submitted correctly within given time frame.
    • Conduct monthly audits with Floorplan representative and ensure that all vehicles are accounted for and required standards are kept.
    • Invoice all new and used vehicles to customers accurately.
    • Ensure all vehicle costs are processed accurately.
    • Complete month end reports accurately.
    • Complete monthly commission reports accurately and timeously.
    • Ensure that filing is completed and maintained as per required standards.

    SUPERVISION

    • Schedule drivers to deliver vehicles.
    • Make suitable arrangements for deliveries by the drivers.
    • Supervise hours worked by drivers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Qualifications:

    • Min: Matric
    • Diploma in logistics and business administration (advantageous)

    Experience:

    • 3-5 years’ experience in stock control.
