• Our software engineers are the computer whizz-kids of our larger Research and Development team, who are responsible for designing and developing effective software solutions to meet our clients’ requirements. The responsibilities include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various languages, depending on what the area of expertise is.

Minimum Requirements    

•  Relevant Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience in related field is preferable     
•  Matric, Relevant Tertiary Qualification preferred     
•  5 years experience in Microsoft C# .NET    
•  Solid experience in writing unit/integration tests using NUnit/xUnit    
•  Solid experience in mutli-tenant environments and large scale data    
•  Good skills in relational database queries    
•  Good skills in Object Oriented design (SOLID principles, patterns etc.)    
•  (Beneficial) Experience in modern Web technologies (HTML5 – native web components, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3+)    
•  Experience in Git source control beneficial    
•  Experience in working in an agile development environment    

Duties & Responsibilities    

•  Develop well-designed software to the approval of the Product Owner    
•  Develop high quality software to the approval of the QA Manager    
•  Participate actively in the scrum process    
•  Troubleshoot and solve incidents in the product     
•  Build knowledge of new technical tools and relevant technology on a continuous basis     
•  Provide mentorship and coaching to other team members

• You will work within a wide range of industries in the Private and/ or Public sectors covering various aspects of asset management. You will be either dedicated to a single client based at the client's site or work from the Pragma head office servicing multile clients. You will will be exposed to industry best practices for asset management and have access to extensive training material, to help you be the best you can be as a physical asset management specialist. If you seek a job where you can use your logical and analytical engineering mind to implement creative solutions to optimise your client's asset management system, this role was meant for you.     

Minimum Requirements    

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification | B Eng/ BScEng Degree, B Tech Degree or N Diploma (Industrial/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical).
• Basic knowledge of asset management and reliability engineering.
• Advanced MS Excel application and knowledge.
• Exposure and understanding of two Project Management methodology (whether applied or completed in a formal course).
• Advantageous: Minimum 1 years' experience in a SAP PM environment.

Duties & Responsibilities    

•     Develop and implement Asset Management business processes to support an effective asset management system for your client.
•     Identify opportunities for improving your client's asset management system and utilise a structured problem-solving methodology to implement solutions.
•     Present asset management training and develop training material and course content.
•     Identify required reports to measure and improve business processes
•     Deliver ad-hoc client support, training and projects.
