    RPA Developer

    What will you do

    •     Design and implement software robotics and process automation in support of business requirements, software and industry best practices.
    •     Participate in the development of new offerings and innovation in the automation space
    •     Carry out development, unit as well as end-to-end testing, troubleshooting and training of Software Robots and Programmed Automation.
    •     Contribute end to end with a Dev / Ops approach to RPA and help in upfront configuration and ongoing administration and support.
    •     Manage the end-to-end process of implementing automation solutions using RPA technologies.
    •     Support internal and external customers by developing, testing and deploying automation solutions using RPA technologies.
    •     Work with customers to ensure that specifications are appropriately detailed to allow proper workflow design.
    •     Develop and document the design of the automated workflow.
    •     Participating in functional testing.
    •     Working with the business to document changes to current business practices and assist in process re-engineering and change management planning efforts.
    •     Supports investigation and remediation of production level issues.
    •     Supports production deployments processes and performance testing.
    •     Ensures quality by supporting coding and architectural standards and thorough unit testing.
    •     Assist in testing and UAT efforts.
    •     Follow secure coding standards and processes including SDLC and Change Management.
    •     Participate in design and peer reviews
    •     Conduct demos for RPA stewards and business stakeholders.
    •     Supports skills transfer by mentoring new resources on best practices and development.
    •     Communicate and collaborate effectively within RPA team, remote team, and all supporting teams 

    What will make you successful
     

    Qualification & experience 

    •     IT Related Degree or Diploma 
    •     Minimum 3-5 years of SDLC experience preferably on VBScript, Powershell or SQL (or other development languages)
    •     Automation Anywhere training/certification preferable
    •     Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    •     Knowledge of various toolsets such as Jira and Azure DevOps will be advantageous.
    •     Experience in a Dev Ops environment 
    •     Experience in delivering RPA Solutions preferable

    Knowledge and skills 

    •     Experience with SQL, XML, and JSON.
    •     Scripting experience using Visual Basic or Shell script
    •     Solid understanding of Workflow Design Principles.
    •     Extensive experience with SQL Database.
    •     End To End solution support experience a plus.
    •     Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
    •     Experience in Enterprise Software Development Methodologies.
    •     Highly self-motivated to deliver both independently and with strong team collaboration.
    •     Strong written and oral communications along with presentation and interpersonal skills.
    •     Experience with tools like Automation Anywhere, UIPath
    •     Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks

    What will you do?

    To provide and deliver an effective and comprehensive administrative support service to the management team, as well as fulfil a first-line client interaction point function. Act as a liaison in the relationship between the managers and the brokers (to enhance business continuity) and existing and potential clients. 

    The ideal individual must have strong administrative skills and strong planning and organisation skills, be detail-orientated, structured, have good communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a high-performance culture environment.

    Provide secretarial support to the business unit and management team in terms of the following:

    • Organising meetings, functions, presentations and conferences, note-taking 

    • Diary management/reminding manager of important tasks & deadlines

    • Mail and information management 

    • Client liaison

    • Time and priority management

    • Office and telephone administration/maintaining procedures/administration systems

    • Typing, compiling & preparing reports, presentation & correspondence

    • E2 Financial payments & order supplies & SRS requests/budget control

    • Assist with the contracting and cancellation of broker contracts and codes

    • Assist with arranging training interventions

    • Travel arrangements (booking and arranging travel, transport & accommodation)

    • SAP capturing (training)

    • Monthly feedback

    • Graduate arrangements

    What will make you successful in this role?

    Qualification and Experience 

    • Matric

    • Certificate/diploma in administration/secretarial would be advantageous

    • 2 years’ proven experience in office administration and/or as personal assistant, specifically in the financial services industry will be advantageous

    • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word

    • Knowledge of SanFin, SanQuote and AutoNub would be advantageous

    • Driver’s license and own vehicle essential
