    Head of Paid Media

    Your responsibilities will include the following:

    • Manage and grow the in-house Paid performance team.
    • Manage and optimise a large, multi-million Rand Paid Media marketing budget across various channels to meet Business KPIs.
    • Managing all Paid Channels to drive high converting traffic that drives revenue to all platforms (Desktop Web, Mobi Web, and Android, iOS & HMS Apps).
    • Develop & Implement overall Paid Media and Mobile App Acquisition strategy, annual goals, KPIs, reporting needs, and working cross-functionally across stakeholders including Brand, BI, Retail and Product teams
    • Ownership of all channel tracking and briefing in any new marketing integration requirements from the Product team.
    • Liaising with the Brand team to drive Superbalist.com brand awareness and assist in keeping superbalist.com top of mind.
    • Daily, weekly & monthly operational, and management reporting on all Paid Media and Marketing Channels.
    • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Paid Channels success teams to effectively and efficiently meet acquisition and retention growth whilst supporting the company growth needs.
    • Monitoring all Paid Channels to analyse results, deep-dive performance problems, recommending solutions, implementing solutions, and ultimately monitoring problems to correction.
    • Profiling, identifying and testing new potential Paid Channels. 
    • Own all tracking and analytics of Paid Channels whilst assisting other channel managers where possible.
    • Assist with overall Reporting strategy requirements including Google Analytics and MMPs
    • Audience management to effectively target new users and high value returning users (Platform based audiences & owned back-end data)

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A tertiary degree is required preferably within Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science6 - 8 years’ experience in PPC positions

    • Solid, working understanding of Networking (TCP, UDP, IP, nmap, wireshark, etc.)
    • Experience with WAF (Cloudflare)
    • Experience with Google Cloud, or another cloud provider
    • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containers in general
    • Experience with ElasticSearch, Kibana, Grafana
    • Experience with Build Systems (Jenkins)
    • Experience with defensive systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, Canaries, Fail2Ban, etc.)

    Digital Pattern Maker

    The Role 

    Ensuring patterns created and garments sealed are cost effective, production friendly and meet QA standards.

    Reports to: Design Room Manager

    Key Responsibilities 

    • A skilled worker that can create Manual Paper Patterns as well as Electronic Patterns on Gerber.
    • Broad knowledge of pattern making in every category is key – Ladies Dresses, evening gowns, Jackets, Coats, Pants, Skirts, Blouses etc.
    • Interpret the designer’s detailed brief and construct a pattern
    • Ability to accurately trace off from Overseas samples and make required adjustments to the traced pattern
    • Creating and maintaining a master pattern library that enables quick referencing to speed up pattern making process
    • Need to think out of the box when it comes to simplifying construction but keeping the same look – for a better price and easier for production
    • Knowledge of an array of fabric when it comes to the stretch and shrinkage reactions
    • Able to adjust on the pattern according to the reaction of fabric and knowledge of grading
    • Work closely with the seamstress on easier construction and ensure quality is up to standard
    • Need to supply all pattern measurement as per required spec provided
    • Supply lengths of elastic, zips, binding, trims, gauging, belt length etc.
    • Fit styles with Designer and/or Garment Technologist depending on complexity of the style and the alterations.
    • Process all pattern alterations as per required timeously according to priority.
    • Once style is Sealed, and pattern is graded, need to check the graded nest before bulk is cut
    • Making sure the pattern is balanced and according to required spec before signing off for production.

    Key Requirements 

    • Diploma in Clothing Design / Patternmaking 
    • Manual as well as Gerber Accunest / Lectra Computerised pattern making experience is a requirement
    • Minimum 5 years Patternmaking experience
    • Minimum of 5 years experience working on Geber/Lectra
    • Worked in a design centre / manufacturer supplying major retail chain stores would be advantageous
    • Understanding of Customer Body Measurement charts and how this affects the fit of the garment
    • Basic mathematical skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, ability to apply concept of basic geometry)
