    Data Analyst II (Data Analytics) Specialised Audit (X2) Fixed Term Contract (10595)

    Job Purpose

    • To provide expertise, advice and support to develop operational implementation plans and/or associated service delivery processes by gathering, analysing and evaluating data and generating reports to enable management to make effective and sound decisions in order to continuously enhance service delivery.

    Education and Experience

    Minimum Qualification & Experience Required 

    • Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Financial Systems / Computer Auditing / Computer Science and/or Taxation with 5 - 7 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 2 - 3 years at a technically skilled level.

    Alternative #

    • Senior Certificate (NQF 4) with 10 years of related experience, of which 2-3 years were at a technically skilled level.

    Job Outputs:

    Process

    • Apply processes to improve data validation across service delivery systems in line with operational targets.
    • Collect and collate data, analyse information and provide reports and documentation to facilitate discussions at national forums.

    Job Purpose

    • To independently plan and conduct complex audits across multiple CIT and direct tax types within multiple periods and multiple risks, understanding the risk implications across other tax types, in compliance with all legislative requirements.

    Education and Experience

    Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

    • Relevant Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) AND 5-7 years tax audit experience in Corporate Income Tax, specialised financial products, corporate restructurings, taxation experience in long term insurance, non-life insurance and banking; and mergers & acquisitions transactions environment, of which 2 – 3 years at functional specialist level.

    Manager: Account Maintenance (10514)

    Job Purpose

    •  To ensure the effective and efficient planning and execution of Large Business & Internal Client Account Management activities to regulate taxpayer compliance and maximise tax revenue collections, thereby ensuring practice integration and operational implementation through the achievement of Account Maintenance objectives.

    Education and Experience

    Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

    • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) AND 8-10 years' experience in an account maintenance or relationship management environment, of which 3-4 years at junior management level.

    ALTERNATE:

    • Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 15 years’ related experience in an account maintenance or relationship management environment of which 3-4 junior management level.

    Job Outputs:

    Process

    • Act as the bottom-line drivers of tactical implementation within the context of business unit excellence and performance improvement.
