    District Manager Sales & After Sales East Coast Region

    • A vacancy exists in the Dealer Operations Department, which forms part of the Sales & Dealer Network Division and is based in Umhlanga Durban. This position reports to the Regional Sales and After Sales Managers in the East Coast Region.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Physical visitations/engagement with dealerships on a regular/needs basis
    • Adherence to all franchise standards at dealer level
    • Optimise Customer Experience at dealer level
    • Profitable dealership management
    • Implementation and maintenance of operational guidelines at dealer level
    • Implementation and maintenance of minimum environmental standards at dealer level
    • Management of all departmental targets, New/Used/Parts/Service CPUS
    • Management of dealer market share in line with TSAM’s share objectives
    • Management of Toyota Development Programs.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • NQF Level 6 - (360 credits) qualification in Marketing or equivalent
    • Experience / exposure in marketing, sales and dealer business environment
    • PC Literacy (MS Office package - advanced, SAP, e-Toyota)
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (Verbal and written)
    • Good verbal and writing skills
    • Basic Financial Skills
    • Customer Handling Skills
    • Product and general automotive business knowledge
    • Automotive Technical background would be an advantage.

    Senior Buyer Purchasing

    Purpose                                             

    • Reporting to the Manager Purchasing Commercial - this position exists in Purchasing Johannesburg, for the suitable qualified person to perform the following key functions to meet the Company’s objectives: 

    KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Conduct site meetings for various utilities & services projects to meet end user requirements.
    • Conduct tenders, develop tender documents and conclude tender evaluations.
    • Preparation of Contracts documents, monitor contract progress and award contracts.
    • Manage Suppliers, support Supplier Development & BBBEE Objectives and ensure compliance with Toyota SHE and Environmental requirements.
    • Maintain data on SAP (Materials master, scheduling agreements and new vendor setup).
    • Conduct Purchasing Research, benchmarking and any related ad-hoc projects and studies required.
    • Negotiate and settle Annual Price Reviews in line with corporate objectives and be able to support the Company’s Cost Reduction Targets
    • Visualize and present key activities to Management.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • NQF Level 6 (360 credits - 8 level framework) Qualification in Purchasing or relevant.
    • Minimum 2 years purchasing, vendor management and sourcing experience.
    • Must be computer literate, SAP essential as well as (Microsoft word, excel-intermediate level).
    • Logistics procurement management and packaging sourcing experience will be an added advantage

    Contractor Logistics Material Master [12 Months' FTC]

    • The main purpose of the position is to create coordinate & manage component quality specifications for New, Current and Past models with all relevant local Suppliers.

    CONTRACT DUATION:

    • 12 Months

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Manage parts registration process [Local, Import, AMS, HINO, C&A]
    • Daily cost uploads for local parts.
    • Ensure accurate validations of all new parts with correct settings as required by GTOPAS & SAP.
    • Validate accessories, grey invalids, HINO & promotional part numbers.
    • Determine correct source and maintain source codes of newly validated parts.
    • Flagging of parts for MOQ, Bans, Norms.  
    • Conduct Process Kaizen activities.
    • Create and update SOP documents.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • NQF Level 5: (240 credits on level 8 framework) Logistics / Quality / Engineering or related.
    • Minimum 2 years working experience within Supply Chain/ Logistics, working in a team and influencing others
    • Project Management with stakeholders
    • Automotive industry experience would be an advantage
    • Good communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
    • PC Literacy (MS Office Packages) Excel, Word & PowerPoint
    • ERP systems knowledge [SAP/GTOPAS]
    • Coding & Power BI Knowledge will be an advantage.
    • Ability to travel nationally
