    • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

    Foods Group Head/Manager - Plettenberg bay

    MAIN PURPOSE 

    To provide exceptional customer service and maximise all selling opportunities for Foods. To manage all Foods costs, drive operational excellence and lead a motivated Stores Foods team to ensure profitability.

    Job description

    KEY OUTCOME

    • Ensure the delivery of a consistent customer shopping experience in line with agreed service levels
    • Develop, recruit, retain and lead a competent and motivated store Foods team
    • Lead and develop the Foods team to deliver against the operating plan, through collaboration with store management team
    • Co-ordinate the coaching role.

    • Retail and or Business Management Diploma would be advantages and or Post Matric Qualification, (proof on submission) 
    • 2- 5 years role experience as a Foods Manager/Retail Manager in Retail
    • 3 – 5 years minimum Group Head experience

    • Leadership and Management experience
    • Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements.

    Display Planner: Groceries

    Introduction

    Ensuring that the Category Strategy is implemented and reflected on planograms in the most effective and visually appealing use of foods space by preparing, and/or maintaining store planograms, in adherence to display principles and maintaining chain store image.

    Job description

    • Ensure planograms continually match the store catalogue, the store meterage and the business blueprint layouts
    • Creating planograms for new stores (or amending existing stores when new initiatives are introduced)
    • Create and maintain model layouts per display groups / departments
    • Capturing  and tracking of all relevant info for new lines and seasonal launch products      
    • Ensure planograms are adapted to take account of changes in store sales trends
    • Build productive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure optimal process flow
    • Participate in departmental meetings, range reviews & category assessments.

    Minimum requirements

    • Relevant tertiary qualification

    • Store experience within a retail FMCG environment will be an advantage

    • Understanding customer profiles, customer shopping behaviour & store formats and segmentation
    • Understanding of basic business processes and how sales are generated
    • Ability to analyse and interpret trends and impact of space planning on sales

    Value Delivery Senior Analyst

    Introduction

    To facilitate all data related aspects of the onboarding of new suppliers to the Cost of Goods Management way of working.

    Job description

    • Facilitate all data related aspects of the onboarding process for new suppliers
    • Own the Woolworths relationship with the designated data SME at each supplier during onboarding
    • Guide the buyer team and supplier through the data requirements & purpose/intent during initial engagements.
    • Assess supplier data availability and samples, workshop observations & agree scope, content, frequency etc with buyer & supplier.
    • Document conversion rules used per supplier (i.e. BOM quantity conversions, yield alignment, import exchange rates, matching of costs into cost build buckets etc.).
    • Sign off sample BOM conversion with buyer & supplier
    • Transition supplier to ‘BAU’ & facilitate handover of responsibilities
    • Brief in all learnings and decisions taken during onboarding which are related to a supplier’s data to the Value Delivery Support Specialist & Master Data Administrator.
    • Work with the Support Specialists to set up each new file and pre-populate it for the relevant department/supplier intersect.
    • Conduct initial trainings on file use and capturing, demo for and support the buyer & supplier with initial file use.
    • Review the completed file on first submission and hand over to the Support Specialist to take forward.
    • Transition supplier to 'BAU’ and ensure a smooth handover. 

    Minimum requirements

    • Relevant commercial degree/diploma.
    • Minimum of 3 years Business Analysis experience, preferably across multiple disciplines/domains.
    • Strong Excel capability (VLOOKUP’s, tables, power query links, intermediate mathematical formulas, conditional formatting, validations, pivots & slicers, graphs etc.).
    • Experience with facilitation & training, coordinating and conducting of demonstrations, workshops, review sessions etc.
    • Proven experience engaging with multi-level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
    • Able to critically analyse an unfamiliar dataset against a required standard and identify true gaps, overlaps, options to convert & areas for confirmation/query.
    • Working knowledge of relevant methodology and tools e.g. Process modelling tools, project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.).
    • Prior experience with data integration, particularly between separate organisations.
    • Prior experience in manufacturing preferred, particularly specs, BOMs, and procurement.
    • Prior experience with raw materials and/or packaging preferred.
    • Self-organising & proactive, able to drive own progress along pre-set process steps with SLAs.

    Value Delivery System Support Specialist

    Introduction

    To manage the ongoing integration between the tactical tools and the source/master database. To support & maintain the tools in BAU state, and to support the VD Category Leads in their use of the tools.

    Job description

    Facilitate the monthly ‘BAU’ process for the tactical Value Delivery tool

    • Load extracts from the Value Delivery Database or business data sources into the tactical Excel file tool & execute validations on the result.
    • Facilitate the upload of data received in template files from suppliers and buyer teams back into the Value Delivery Database
    • Execute on all requests for proposal creations/draft PI set ups outside of the BAU cycle.
    • Adhere to a strict delivery schedule, keep stakeholders updated.
    • Serve as 'SME' for inbound source data
    • Own the conversion rules & principles decided per supplier and applied during onboarding (as briefed in by the Onboarding Specialist).
    • Manage any changes in supplier source or principles with the relevant teams as needed.
    • Support the systems analyst with validations on inbound integrated supplier data and facilitate any queries with the supplier directly to address any data completeness or quality concerns.
    • Work with the Systems Analyst to resolve any issues identified in other source data, and work with the Value Delivery Senior Analyst or Onboarding Specialist to resolve any breaks or errors identified in the deliverable files.
    • Work with Integration specialist to design & run queries on the consolidated Value Delivery dataset to extract or create useful reports in response to briefs from VD Category leads or the VD Senior Analyst.
