OUr client, a niche Investements company, is seeking a young individual to support the team's investment origination, execution and post - investment activities.

The successful candidate will be involved in the following key areas:

• Analyse financial statements and prepare financial models
• Conduct industry, market and company research
• Participate in all aspects of the investment cycle from project development to disbursement
• Provide support for investment negotiations and due diligence
• Assist in post-investment activities
• Contribute to our social entrepreneurship mandate by assessing proposals
• Prepare documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for internal and external audiences
• Take minutes at meetings
• Work on corporate-wide projects (e.g. events, communication, etc.)

The ideal candidate will have the followng skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in finance, business, or other related fields
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience such as Private Equity, or Venture Capital
• Strong financial, analytical and financial modelling skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
• Must have previous consulting experience
• Knowledge across business and IT
