    Central Planning Analyst: Replenishment

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • To be responsible for the analysis of replenishment performance, user support and the operational governance of the RPL policies and processes to the achievement of the Company’s merchandise objectives.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Analysis (30%)

    • Conducting intensive analysis and interrogation of replenishment performance across the company

    Reporting (25%)

    • Proactively reporting on exceptions, risks & opportunities identified in the analysis of product performance and providing the business with recommendations

    Governance of Replenishment policies and procedures (25%)

    Training & Development (20%)

    • Process training and refresher training to all users.
    • Networking and building relationships with all stakeholders to meet Company objectives:
    • Planners and Store Planners
    • Heads of Planning
    • Systems Analyst

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
    • Comm./ B. Science degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Stats and/or Business Science
    • National Diploma majoring in Internal Auditing and/or Cost and Management Accounting
    • National Diploma in Financial Information Systems
    • National Diploma/ degree in Business/Retail/Merchandise Management or Accounting/Finance

    EXPERIENCE:

    Essential:

    • A minimum of 3 years Product Planning experience within a clothing retail / FMCG environment
    • Working experience in replenishment planning systems
    • Working experience in the latest Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint & Advanced Excel)
    • 2-3 years’ experience in analyzing information

    Preferred:

    • Additional Store Planning experience (more than 1 year).
    • Replenishment experience (2-3 years)
    • Previous exposure to and understanding of logistics and supply chain processes

    KNOWLEDGE:

    • Expert product knowledge on the Just Enough tool or a similar replenishment system
    • Knowledge of the Retail merchandise cycle in terms of Buying, Planning, Logistics and Stores
    • Knowledge of the retail and merchandise planning processes
    • Knowledge and understanding of seasonal and non-seasonal replenishments

    Store Operations Controller

    • We are seeking a commercially driven Store Operations Controller to turn store, sales, payroll and financial data into actionable insights that improve performance and operational efficiency.
    • The role partners closely with Operations to drive budgeting and forecasting, cost control, labour productivity and performance management, while supporting process improvement, automation and key store initiatives.

    • Support store-level sales budgeting, forecasting and performance review processes.
    • Analyse sales trends, seasonality, store maturity, trading patterns, store initiatives, revamps and operational changes to support realistic forecasts and budgets.
    • Investigate variances and underlying drivers of store performance, including sales, margin, costs, productivity and operating disciplines.

    • Experience in operational finance, management accounting, store performance analysis, sales budgeting and forecasting, or a similar analytical role.
    • Retail store operations exposure, with an understanding of how store sales, controllable costs, people deployment and operating routines influence results.
    • Experience in store-level sales budgeting, forecasting, target setting and performance tracking within a retail environment.
    • Specific experience in shift-based store payroll, including headcount, hours worked, overtime and labour productivity, is required.
    • Experience partnering with store and field operations teams to improve operational execution and decision-making.

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

    • B.Com , Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, Retail Planning or equivalent qualification

    • Experience working with the most recent Microsoft software, including Word and Excel, is a prerequisite. Proficiency in advanced Excel usage would be an asset.
