What you will enjoy doing

• As a technician you, support the Afrox sales organization with complex quotations, training of internal personnel and demonstration of equipment where required
• You conduct welding machine repairs where required
• You proactively conduct the pre delivery inspection (PID) of equipment at the NHGW timeously in order to facilitate the sale of equipment
• You manage the pre delivery inspection, predelivery inspection and program for equipment by liaising with relevant stakeholders to identify product requirements in order to fulfil demand requirements
• Management of the training requirements of the National Repair Agents by liaising with the hardgoods product manager equipment
• Additionally, you manage the repair warranty processes for equipment

What makes you great

• You possess electrical artisan with N5 achieved through an accredited FET College or suitable alternative qualification
• You have gained at least five to ten (5-10) years relevant experience in welding equipment machine repairs
• In dept knowledge of welding processes such as MIG, TIG, Plasma and MMA with the ability to identify consumables and spares required for the equipment
• Ability to demonstrate an ability to work with internal and external customers and suppliers.

• As the Sales Manager you manage and co-ordinate activities for key and major customers under guidance of the Regional Sales Manager
• You will contribute to the development of strategic plans for allocated key and major customers
• Gain full understanding of key and major customer processes, identify growth opportunities and collaborate with specialist resources such as manufacturing Industries, to develop process/product solutions and thereby adding value to the customer
• In addition, you will secure long-term supply agreements with Key and Major Account Customers, applying the LindePro methodology via the SFDC platform
• Professionally, you maintain, retain, manage, and grow the allocated customer base and manage assets on customer premises
• Part of your responsibility is growing sales by identifying gaps at allocated major customers; grow profits through effectively optimizing pricing opportunities and implementing Best Commercial Practice

What makes you great

• You possess a qualification in commercial, business or marketing and you have gained at least three to five (3 - 5) years of sales experience or customer and asset management
• A code 8 driver's License is essential 
• You have strong sales communications skills and technical knowledge of gas products, welding and mining applications and familiar with safety standards
• Demonstrated knowledge of both technical and commercial contexts of the Compressed and Hard goods business and working knowledge of SAPs
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver on stretch targets
• Furthermore, you are expected to be available during non-office hours to cater for customer requirements
