Purpose of Position:

• The role of the IT Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Requirements:

• Industry recognized certification in Project Management  (Required), University Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or Business Administration (Post Graduate Degree preferred)  (Required)

Required Experience:

• 8 – 12 years’ direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution,
• Ability to coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Agile practices and mindsets,
• Ability to serve as a Scrum Master, facilitate scrum meetings, and lead sprint planning / demo / retrospective meetings effectively,
• Experience with project management software,
• Thorough knowledge of advanced concepts and basic operating principles of data communications and information systems hardware and software,
• Thorough knowledge of Agile methodology, to direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities, tasks and deliverables required from the project team according to the project plan,
• Thorough knowledge of current ITIL Framework and the ability to manage  an Infrastructure
