    Regional Sales Manager (East)

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support, create & drive National commercial strategy that supports the goals of Aramex.
    • Develop and nurture a strong commercial sales team capable of delivering the expected results!
    • Achieve set revenue and profitability targets.
    • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, ops, finance, vertical managers and exco – team selling approach.
    • Support and coach critical sales activities within the team
    • Seek business opportunities to grow market share
    • Monitor competitor’s activity
    • Perform daily customer visits with the commercial team members.
    • Assist in closing of new business deals, proposals, and solutions.
    • Drive aramex internal sales strategy & quality (Whiteboards, SOP, Minutes, 10 steps Implementation plans)
    • Day to day management of the commercial sales team ensure all on target (performance management, L&D & Reward)
    • Monitor and report on overall sales activities; including revenue performance, visitations and prospecting
    • Aggressively manage area sales pipeline weekly
    • Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
    • Willingness to travel and visit team / customers in relating regions.
    • Adhoc support when sales team members are on I.e., leave or area vacancy to ensure momentum is kept in all sales regions.
    • Own strategic sales pipeline to support the area growth revenue goals.  

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum requirement is a Matric (Grade 12) qualification
    • Bachelor’s Degree or similar qualification and/or experience
    • 5 years Corporate Sales experience
    • 3 years Management experience
    • Need to have worked for reputable corporates
    • Proven track record of having made target and successfully lead a sales team
    • Industry experience with understanding of full Supply Chain is a necessity
    • Experience in presentation and negotiation of business solutions at senior management level
    • Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own reliable transport

    National IT Manager

    Job Purpose

    • The National IT Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the IT team and its resources. The IT Manager will align projects and deadlines to support the business in achievement of strategy.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage information technology and computer systems.
    • Plan, organise, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
    • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
    • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
    • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
    • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organisational policy.
    • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
    • Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
    • Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
    • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
    • Implementation and maintenance of effective delivery frameworks internally and with the outsourced IT service partner.
    • Responsible and maintains information's of purchases for the Assets Registry.
    • Implement network security at levels set by corporate standards.
    • Anticipate difficult or problems relating to IT and ensures that contingency plans are in place to overcome these difficulties.
    • Work with the IT team to implement and support internal IT systems and proactively address IT change requests from stakeholders.
    • Interact constructively with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT related issues and provide answers in a timely manner through the effective management of helpdesk and application software.
    • Administer and maintain the company's IT infrastructure and manages all telephony.
    • Manage day-to-day internal and external client interactions.
    • Ensure that company IT assets are maintained according to company standards.
    • Manage the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for the Company's training programs and training facilities and proactively provide support.
    • Manage troubleshooting, system backups, archiving, disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary while identifying and motivating opportunities for improvements.
    • Provide the Financial Department with IT financial information and manage the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies within the budget.
    • Facilitate the motivation and development of the team by attempting to align project tasks with team members career interests while attaining goals in pursuance of excellence and giving feedback on attainment of performance goals.
    • Any other duties consistent with the position of IT Manager.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
    • Manage key supplier relationships, costing and SLA's and new technology offerings.
    • Communicate with the Management Team and all other levels within the business.
    • In times of IT downtime, persistent, regular updates to all senior management.
    • Play a vital role with clients, always being well briefed and informative.
    • Attend and contribute to regular team meetings to discuss and resolve issues and challenges in the department.
    • Remain at the forefront of emerging industry practices and continually investigate IT technologies.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Must be in possession of an A+, N+ and Microsoft MCSA Certificate
    • A National IT Diploma would be advantageous
    • A Project Management qualification and / or Experience would be advantageous
    • Sound knowledge of LAN/Wan and TCP/IP
    • Basic MySQL /MSSql Knowledge
    • 3-5 Years’ experience in managing an IT team
    • Knowledge on backup systems (Backup Exec)
    • Knowledge of VMWare (ESXI)
    • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport

    Minimum Requirements
