Backline IT Support at Aramex South Africa

Key Responsibilities

• Backline support to all Aramex branches across South Africa
• Hardware and Software installations and support
• Server implementation and support
• Networking implementation and support
• Virtualization implementation and support
• Application implementation and support
• Cloud system management including, but not limited to Host Africa and AWS

Minimum Requirements

• A+ and N+
• MCSA preferred
• Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 extensive knowledge key
• Linux Operating system knowledge essential
• Understanding of TCP/IP
• Microsoft Office 365 knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well with a team in a fast paced, constantly changed environment and follow instructions from supervisors and senior colleagues
• Dependable to be at work during assigned shifts and to complete work as expected
• Ability to multitask and meet specific goals set by supervisors and management
• Extensive Hardware knowledge including: Desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment and servers
• Hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance (Networking and Server)
• Intermediate networking skills
• Virtualization knowledge, VMWare 6.5 and higher
• Experience with Dell storage systems
