    Sales Consultant - KwaZulu-Natal

    • The Sales Consultant is responsible for building long-term relationships with customers, work closely with customers, and acting as an all-round business consultant to identify how Arjo can assist in improving the quality and effectiveness of their care.
    • As the Sales Consultant you will be responsible for KwaZulu-Natal – Private Sector:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Achieving sales targets
    • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
    • Building relationship with potential customers for developing new business and analyzing needs
    • Sales reporting on activities, planners, rolling forecasts, competitors info, market share, install base and database maintenance.
    • Developing and effectively managing a sales pipeline.
    • Effective territory coverage and analysis
    • Frequent assessments in all wards of hospitals and other medical facilities (Foam, Pressure Injury Prevalence, etc)
    • Customer needs development through frequent demo’s and customer education.
    • Commissioning (installation of products) at customers
    • In-service training on all products sold, bearing in mind shift changes of hospital staff
    • Providing customers with solutions
    • Providing feedback on future buying trends
    • Representing Arjo at trade exhibitions, symposiums, events and demonstrations
    • Liaising with operations department to check on the progress of existing orders
    • Keeping up to date with Arjo product knowledge as well as all competitor products

    Administrative Duties:

    • Recording sales and order information and doing analysis
    • Maintaining and communicating weekly planner and daily activities completed and outcome and/or actions to follow up on.
    • Maintaining accurate customer database.
    • CRM Execution
    • Forecasting
    • Effectively managing accounts receiving processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Medical and/or Sales and Marketing tertiary qualification would be advantageous

    Requirements:

    • At least 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar role in the Health Care Industry, with proven sales track record.
    • Minimum 5 years sales experience including capital medical devices
    • Understanding of Private Hospital Processes
    • Customer Service Orientated and focused
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle
    • Ability to work independently
    • Available outside of normal office hours, as per customer requirements

    Product Specialist

    • The Product Specialist will use their sharp analytical skill sets to interpret and present data that will effectively build growth strategies. They will own, execute and monitor on these growth strategies through special projects and campaigns. They will use strong project management experience & capabilities and high levels of ownership & governance to collaborate with business unit leaders to ensure successful execution.

    As the Product Specialist you will be responsible for:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Reporting, analysis and insights: building dashboards to track performance, derive insights, understand growth levers and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
    • Analyse all sales data with commercial leads and marketing team and suggest new strategies for market/product segments
    • Develop, execute and monitor data based strategic projects and campaigns that align with organisation strategy, goals, and objectives with guidance of senior management.
    • Lead and align collaboration of business unit leaders in the strategic execution of your projects and campaigns.

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in a marketing analyst, business analyst or project management role
    • Proven track record of project execution and management skills.
    • Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
    • A confident individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to guide collaboration of stakeholders within business units
    • Expert in Excel

    Technical Sales Consultant - Western Cape

    • The Technical Sales Consultant is responsible for building long-term relationships with customers, work closely with customers, and acting as an all-round business consultant to identify how Arjo can assist in improving the effectiveness and quality of products through preventative maintenance and care.

    As the Technical Sales Consultant you will be responsible for:

    • Achieving sales targets
    • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers
    • Build relationships with customers to develop new business by analyzing their needs
    • Reporting on activities, planners, forecasts, competitors info, install base and database maintenance
    • Frequent assessments & equipment validation in hospital wards and other medical facilities
    • Liase closely with customers and manage expectations on services pending
    • Qualify business potential customers and execute plans efficiently
    • In-service training and product education on all products sold
    • Providing customers with solutions to extend the life span of their equipment
    • Promote extended warranties, Service level agreements and planned preventative maintenance plans
    • Maintain good track records on existing service level agreements and extended warranties
    • Provide market activity updates and business growth opportunities
    • Create new business ideas and strategies    
    • Represent Arjo at trade exhibitions, symposiums, events and demonstrations
    • Liaise with operations department to check on the progress of existing orders
    • Liaise with customer services on all quotes and orders pending
    • Build strong relationships with technicians
    • Communicate effectively with the technicians to manage execution tasks
    • Keep a strong follow up on all open quotes  
    • Keep up to date with Arjo product knowledge

    Administrative Duties:

    • Track sales and order process management
    • Validate assessment reports and quotes
    • Submit weekly planners and update daily reports on tasks completed with relevant outcome and/or actions needed
    • Forecasting/pipeline management

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Sales and technical tertiary qualification would be preferred
    • At least 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar role, with proven sales track record.
    • A good understanding of Government and private hospital relations is essential
    • Customer Service Orientated and focused
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle
    • Ability to work independently
    • Available to work outside of normal office hours, as per customer requirements
    • Adhoc travel and visits to regional provinces.
