    Provincial Support Services Manager (Limpopo)

    The DA wishes to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated and goal driven individual, who will be based at our Limpopo Provincial Office. The successful candidate will report to the Provincial Director.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    Ensuring effective and efficient functioning of the following in the province, including, but not limited to:

    • Human Resources
    • Membership
    • Statutory Obligations
    • VRM
    • Candidate Selection
    • Political Performance Assessment System
    • Facilities Management
    • Information Systems & Technology
    • Provincial Administration
    • Management of Party Offices, including Health and Safety
    • Effectively managing and directing all support staff

    Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate or equivalent
    • Tertiary qualification in Business/Management advantageous
    • 5 years’ experience in a facilities management/support services role
    • 3 years’ experience in a management role
    • Experience in creating and implementing systems

    Provincial Election Campaign Administrator – Fixed Term (Gauteng)

    The DA is looking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated and goal driven individual, who will be based at our Gauteng Provincial Office in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will report to the Provincial Campaign Operations Manager and indirectly to the Provincial Director.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Assisting the Provincial Campaign Operations Manager and Provincial Director with efficient and effective administrative and logistical assistance in the Province
    • Overseeing the data capturing for the Province with a Quality Assurance mechanism in place
    • Producing weekly campaign reports as requested by the Provincial Campaign Operations Manager
    • Designing, implementing and maintaining campaign administrative systems and procedures for the
      effective operations of the Campaigns Department
    • Assisting with the designing, implementing and maintenance of a communication system between all
      formations of the Party pertaining to the rollout of the NPE2024 campaign in the Province
    • Liaising with professional staff, constituencies and branches on behalf of the Provincial Campaign
      Operations Manager and Provincial Director
    • General Campaign Administration and Logistical requirements in the Gauteng Province
    • Working closely with the Provincial Contact Centre Officer to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the Provincial Contact Centre
    • Assisting with event planning and execution
    • Assisting with campaign execution
    • Assisting with analysis of campaign data

    Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate or equivalent
    • Two years’ experience in a similar role (administrative or secretarial support)
    • Experience with database management and record keeping
    • Experience in project and financial management advantageous
    • Experience in events coordination advantageous
    • Computer literacy essential, particularly MS Office Suite
    • Excellent communication and writing skills
    • Excellent organisational and planning abilities
    • A basic understanding of data and research
    • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of the South African political landscape

    Manager: Leadership Development & International Office (Cape Town)

    The DA wishes to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated, and goal-driven individual in its Leadership Development & International Office team at our Federal Head Office in Cape Town. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Leadership Development and International Office.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Supporting the Head of Leadership Development & International Office to manage team members and projects, implement and coordinate systems to reach the department’s objectives
    • Supporting the Head of department to coordinate functions and projects that support the DA as a learning organisation, the continuous development and improvement of DA people, and to attract new talent to the organisation through targeted campaigns
    • Supporting the Head of the department to build and support an international network for the DA

    Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate or equivalent
    • Degree or diploma in Training and Development, or Politics or International Relations or a relevant
      tertiary qualification
    • 4 years’ experience in a management role
    • 3 years’ experience in a training and development related environment, at a practitioner level
    • 3 years’ experience in a liberal political party or associated environment is advantageous
    • 2 years’ online learning design and management experience is advantageous
    • Knowledge of the local, provincial and national political and legislative framework and dynamics
    • Knowledge of liberal philosophy
    • Strong financial management and project management skills
    • Strong system creation/implementation and tracking skills
    • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom)
    • Excellent use of the English language and ability to proof-read.
    • Excellent report writing, presentation, facilitation and coordinating skills
