The Purpose of the Role:
- The individual in the role is required to provide advertising time/slots to existing and potential clients within assigned company quotas and goals to facilitate revenue growth and ensure all deliverables are available for play out across all channels.
Key Deliverables:
Application Management and Administration
- Processing client order application.
- Providing effective and efficient service to existing and potential clients.
- Maintaining and administering daily incoming client order and flighted applications across platforms.
- Recommending alternative spots/programming to clients (upselling applications) to secure revenue.
- Issuing order confirmation to clients for billing purposes and obtain client confirmation.
- Ensuring application changes are documented. and re-issuing order confirmation when needed.
- Loading flighting codes and ensure the material is delivered within the required time frames.
- Checking schedules continuously to ensure correct material is flighted.
- Issuing availability reports and certificates for flighted campaigns when requested.
- Adhering to set internal and external policies.
- Maintaining good relationships with external Sales Executives and other relevant stakeholders.
Capture Quality Data
- Obtaining information, checking for accuracy and capturing data.
- Filing documents per departmental procedure.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements of the Role:
Qualifications - National Senior certificate
Experience - 1 year in Advertising / Sales
Technology Proficiency - Basic Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Language Proficiency - Advanced English

The Purpose of the Role:
- The individual in the role is required to manage the logs and schedules of the advertising inventory on assigned channels in the Broadcast Traffic System.
Key Deliverables:
Log scheduling and Coordination
- Pre-scheduling and scheduling all commercial elements accurately, timeously according to industry rules on assigned channels.
- Ensuring that resolving of breaks are made timeously and accurately.
- Reconciling daily logs timeously.
- Emailing as-runs timeously to research houses and assist with queries.
- Communicating exceptions to internal sales to update contracts.
- Following up with Internal Sales on outstanding codes and material.
- Ensuring that the correct media is selected before download.
- Adhering to all log deadlines.
- Ensuring that all late changes/bookings are actioned timeously.
- Collating and completing ad-hoc Reports when and if required.
- Ensuring that all aspects of Broadcast Traffic System and other systems in relation to the job is known.
Stakeholder Liaison and Support
- Liaising with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing necessary support to the Sales Team.
- Providing necessary support to the Log Scheduling Supervisor.
- Overseeing all Broadcast Traffic System functionality, testing and reporting in conjunction with IT.

- Building, supporting and maintaining interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.

- Key Performance Indicator 1 - Correct placement/positioning of commercial and sponsorship elements on daily logs.
- Key Performance Indicator 2 - Follow up on outstanding codes or material timeously.
- Key Performance Indicator 3 - Accurate communication with regards to late bookings, code changes, cancellations, etc.
- Key Performance Indicator 4 - Timeous reconciliation of daily logs.
- Key Performance Indicator 5 - Timeous distribution of reconciled logs to research houses.
