RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage leased in aircraft / engines to meet contract and redelivery;
• Term management of leased airplanes so redelivery conditions can be met at any time with minimal input;
• Ensure the specific contractual engine and airframe leases and terms and conditions are met during the lease term to reduce risk at redelivery;
• Ensure the maintenance provision of the leases are correctly applied and recorded;
• Ensure all available reserve funding, warranties and credits are managed and claimed;
• Ensure that the various MRO/AMO/CAMO functions are correctly applied to the specifics of the lease;
• Ensure that any operation requested changes made are in line with the contract, recorded and Lessor agreed;
• Ensure any operational limitations in the lease are visible to the operations department and managed and enforced;
• Ensure complete and accurate month end reporting of hours/cycles/usage and power setting to the lessor for billing purposes
• Ensure invoices are correctly processed, escalations applied and deposits administrated;
• Ad hoc duties as required from time to time

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification;
• At least 5 Years’ experience in relevant field;
• Sound understanding of aviation business;
• Must have a background in aircraft records, aviation regulation, and aviation quality standards and aircraft lease/engine contract administration;
• Experience in SAM Maintenance System would be an advantage;
• Understanding of generic CAMO control systems;
• Computer proficiency and sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Run and execute small scale building / facilities related projects with a view to obtain Professional status;
• Safety training and continuous safety and quality management with a view to obtain a Government Certificate of Competence (GCC);
• Research and analyses to improve systems and establish new services that will allow the business to operate independently;
• Building business cases for projects and monitoring project viability assumptions;
• Root causes analyses on component failures;
• Managing energy consumption of the facilities and driving projects for energy reduction.
• Assist in the planning, conceptualising, and creating mechanical designs for new projects;
• Provide technical support to engineering team and perform testing and validation of concepts;
• Assist in resolving product selection through creative testing and re-engineering;
• Engage in problem analysis and resolution;
• Continuous evaluation of current systems and processes to drive efficiencies;
• Analyse and identify opportunities to reduce process variation and optimize process performance;
• Prepare detailed reports to demonstrate technical progress and accomplishments on projects.

• Making Known and Loading of Part Numbers onto the Safair SAM system;
• Investigating applicability and effectiveness of Part Numbers to various aircraft, and linking on the SAM system;
• Checking Mod status of components;
• Checking effectiveness and alternativeness through SB statuses;
• Investigating and listing of Part Number Alternatives;
• Checking existing Part Numbers and there applicability to the current fleet.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12;
• Previous Engineering Experience would be an advantage;
• At least 5 years Aviation Experience;
• Computer literate; knowledge of SAM would be an advantage;
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for aircraft;
• Must have knowledge of aircraft documentation, i.e. IPC, AMM, SIL’s etc.;
• Must have knowledge of Service Bulletins
• Previous experience on B737 Aircraft;
• Proficient in English (written and spoken) and able to liaise effectively at all levels;
