    Job Description

    • To understand the business environment and requirements in order to analyze data and provide relevant analytical and quantitative insights to business for operational, tactical and strategic decisioning.

    • Ensure IT Front-end and Back-end process and product enhancements and make recommendation to improve service and processes for 3rd tier support of FNB IT products.
    • Set and enforce all batch standards using relevant tools to do Code Advanced Automation, Create Batch Schedules and Create Change Order.
    • Support batch FTP and the creation of FTP encryption data by development and analyze and change batch schedules on request.
    • Manage own development to increase own competencies.
    • Ensure the Production Support team remains abreast of Front-end and Back-end products and process developments.
    • Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies.

    You will be an ideal candidate if you:

    • Minimum Qualification - Relevant bachelor’s degree in information technology computer science, Information Systems or related field
    • Preferred Qualification - Control M/O/R certification
    • Experience - 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
    • Prior batch scheduling or software equivalent
    • Programme/Batch monitoring
    • Developer fix application
    • Troubleshooting and analysis protocol
    • Monitoring and command center knowledge
    • Data processing
    • Infrastructure knowledge
    • Operating systems knowledge
    • Redhat Certification
    • AWS Cloud Certifications
