Duties :
- The management of mental health related problems in adults and individuals younger than eighteen. The provision of care, treatment, and rehabilitation to mental health care users within the framework of the Mental Health Care Act (No 17 of 2002), involvement in emergency psychiatry and consultation liaison psychiatry as needed.
- Teaching and training of medical students, medical officers, and psychiatric registrars on the topic of psychiatry, as well as other personnel (e.g. nurses etc).
