    Recruitment Officer

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Sourcing and Attraction

    • Develop, place, and manage job advertisements across internal, external and industry-specific platforms for engineering/specialist talent.
    • Proactively source candidates for scarce and critical skills using direct search, networks, and talent databases.
    • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for recurring, critical, and hard-to-fill roles.
    • Represent Lesedi at recruitment fairs at universities and training institutions to build a skills pipeline.

    Screening and Selection

    • Screen CVs and applications against approved job specifications and minimum requirements.
    • Conduct initial screening interviews and coordinate competency-based interviews with hiring managers.
    • Coordinate psychometric and technical assessments where required.
    • Verify qualifications, conduct reference checks, and manage pre-employment screening (including criminal, credit and security clearance checks, and nuclear-sector vetting where applicable).
    • Ensure compliance in the recruitment of non-South African candidates.
    • Ensure appointments are a strong culture fit, aligned with company values and talent development strategy.

    Process and Compliance Management

    • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with the Labour Relations Act (LRA), Employment Equity Act (EEA), and relevant EE targets and plans.
    • Maintain accurate, audit-ready recruitment records to support Employment Equity and B-BBEE reporting.
    • Handle candidate personal information in line with POPIA.
    • Manage recruitment activity within approved organograms and budgeted headcount.
    • Maintain and retain recruitment documentation in line with company policy.

    Stakeholder and Offer Management

    • Partner with line and hiring managers to understand role requirements and participate fully in pre-interview meetings.
    • Keep role profiles up to date and formalised.
    • Prepare and negotiate employment offers within approved remuneration bands and divisional budgets.
    • Draft employment contracts, including fixed-term and project-based placements, in consultation with Payroll.
    • Coordinate handover to Payroll and line management for onboarding and induction.
    • Obtain client feedback following every placement.

    Reporting and Continuous Improvement

    • Track and report recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and progress against Employment Equity targets.
    • Provide regular reporting to HR leadership on vacancy status and pipeline health.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience.
    • Assist with other HR projects as required.

    QUALIFICATION

    • NQF Level 7 (Degree / Advanced Diploma) in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
    • Membership of a recognised HR or People Management professional body advantageous.
    • Valid driver's licence (local / national travel may be required).

    • Minimum 5 years' recruitment experience within an engineering, EPC, or technical/industrial environment;

    Chief Financial Officer

    Transformation Manager

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Transformation Strategy & B-BBEE Management

    • Develop and implement the company's transformation strategy aligned with the B-BBEE Act, sector charters, Employment Equity legislation, and ESG/sustainability objectives.
    • Monitor and improve B-BBEE scorecard performance across Ownership, Management Control, Skills Development, Enterprise & Supplier Development (ESD), and Socio-Economic Development (SED).
    • Set annual transformation targets and implementation plans; prepare executive and board reports on transformation performance.

    Estimator

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Estimation Development

    • Produce estimates and pricing schedules for tender submissions cross-referenced with ERP System (IFF), WBS and Activity Schedules
    • Plan and manage estimating tasks and associated activities in compliance with company procedures
    • Review commercial requirements, scope of work, site information, and study reports from Client Tender documents
    • Prepare bills of material from Material Take-Off (MTO) for market pricing
    • Coordinate and assess discipline engineering, procurement, and planning inputs during estimate development
    • Perform project cost forecasts, cash flows, and escalation calculations using industry indices
    • Perform cost analysis and risk assessments to identify potential financial issues.
    • Provide post-tender commercial analysis and participate in clarification processes

    Technical Coordination

    • Review technical drawings, site layouts, PFDs, P&IDs and verify engineering information
    • Generate equipment lists, MTOs, BOQs, and schedules of quantities from engineering drawings

    • Liaise with design engineers to ensure scope is correctly identified and measurable in cost models

    • Review and adjudicate subcontractor and vendor pricing using first principle estimating

    Database Management & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Support cost engineers and quantity surveyors as required
    • Attend post-tender review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives 

    QUALIFICATION

    Essential:

    • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Building Science, or Engineering
    • 3-5 years post-qualification MEIP (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping) experience
    • For Senior Estimator role: 5-10 years post-qualification MEIP experience

    Preferred:

    • Certified Cost Engineer (CCE) or Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) qualificationCCS Candy Certification or demonstrable proficiency
    • Professional certification in relevant engineering or construction management discipline 

    EXPERIENCE

    Required:

    • 3-10 years of MEIP experience in cost estimating within industrial/construction environments
    • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
    • Experience with project planning software (CCS Planning, MS Project, or Primavera P6)
    • Proven track record in tender preparation and cost estimation accuracy
