    Health Safety and Quality Manager

    • An established international chemical distributor is seeking an experienced HSQ Manager to lead and manage the company’s Health, Safety, and Quality (HSQ) functions, ensuring compliance with all local and international regulatory requirements, industry standards, and corporate policies. This role plays a critical part in protecting employees, customers, the environment, and the business by promoting a safe, compliant, and quality-focused operating environment. The successful candidate will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of HSQ systems, maintain ISO certification standards, manage risk, oversee audits, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and compliance throughout the organisation.

    Minimum requirements for the role:

    • Must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management, Environmental Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
    • Must have ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor Certification
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Health, Safety, Quality, Compliance, or Risk Management role
    • Experience within chemical distribution, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or related regulated industries would be highly advantageous
    • Strong understanding of South African HSQ legislation and international quality standards
    • Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO Management Systems
