Role Purpose    

The Learnership Programme, which will commence in 1 March 2024 to 28 February 2025, offers participants the opportunity to develop their skills and gain Short-term Insurance specific experience. Furthermore, successful graduates of this programme will receive a formal National Certificate in Short-term Insurance (NQF level 4).

Requirements    

• Aged between 18 and 25 years (including turning 25 in 2023). You MUST attach a copy of your ID to your
• Able to speak, read and write
• Passed Matric (a pass mark of 50% or above for English will be a requirement and Maths will be beneficial). You MUST attach a copy of your Matric certificate to your application. If you are currently completing Matric, please attach a copy of your Matric preliminary exam
• Be computer literate 
• Currently unemployed and/or have no work
• Not be studying at any other institution or have any post Matric
• Currently not be registered for any other
• Interested in pursuing a career in Short-term
• Have a passion for learning and the business
• Have a clear criminal and credit record 
• Applicants that do not have Matric (or Prelim results) and ID copies attached will not be considered.

Role Purpose    

The purpose of the MDS Risk and Compliance business partner is to develop and implement a robust combined governance strategy and Ops plan for MDS combining governance integrates and aims to optimize all Governance Functions i.e. (Risk, Legal and Compliance). Taken Combined Governance enables an effective control environment; support the integrity of information used for internal decision-making by management within the organization provided by governance but then business partnering with the MDS leaders to create sustainable change.

Requirements    

• A minimum of an LLB or BCom degree in the following fields: Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Finance, and Legal
• No prior industry experiences
• Digital capabilities as you are required to engage digitally with stakeholders

Role Purpose    

To provide effective and efficient service to clients through the administration of a group of schemes by receiving, evaluating and responding to client queries timeously and meeting the agreed service level agreements on all processes.

Requirements    

• Grade 12 or NQF level 4
• 2-5 Years’ experience in an insurance administration environment.
• Employee Benefits administration experience will be advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Ability to self-manage the full administration of risk & retirement schemes.
• Accurately complete member and risk premium reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve all non-reconciling items.
• Administer and process the relevant scheme data from fund entry to exit stage.
• Process and effect payment on all claim types.
• Provide first time resolution to clients on queries via e-mail and telephonic.
• Assess and co-ordinate the required applications and make contact with the clients directly should there be any queries.
• Co-ordinate across the teams to ensure that the required tasks are completed before the monthly reconciliation is due.
• Assist clients efficiently with their requests through displaying the Momentum Metropolitan values enabling client retention and satisfaction.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure a smart client experience.
• Ensure all risks are mitigated and escalated when dealing with client requests.
• Keep abreast of MMH product and legislation changes in order to effectively and accurately assist with client queries.
• Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of scheme data to assist with client reporting.
• Please note that this role is based on the pay for performance remuneration structure.
