• Rand Water is looking for candidate to assist with ordering, expedition and deliveries of inventory, ordering and reconciliationof fuel on a daily basis and admin support

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Code 08 Driver's license
• 3 years’ experience in a inventory environment,
• Three years data capturing experience
• Must be expert user of MS Excel, atleast 3 years working experience with it
• Must be able to compile formulas on Excel
• MS Word and Powerpoint knowledge
• SAP software system experience
• Full Microsoft Office experience essential

Primary Duties

• Creation of RFQ's, Expedition and deliveries of inventory orders.
• Assist with bi-annual stock takes.
• Fuel management – monitoring and ordering thereof.
• Admin support (Daily, Monthly inventory reporting )
• Comply with all SHEQ related policies and procedures.

About the Job

Job Advert Summary

• To protect Rand Water’s existing servitudes, pipelines and ancillary structures from potential damage and to accommodate the needs of outside authorities and organizations in accordance with Rand Water’s policies, standards and specification.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• National Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 2-4 years post experience in Civil Engineering construction / Pipelines
• Wayleaves, Servitudes, Encroachment experience

Primary Duties

• Daily updating of outgoing wayleave spreadsheet accurately.
• Compiling of wayleave pack for external stakeholders within upon the submission of request.
• Daily follow ups to external stakeholders regarding the progress of wayleave approval
• Daily submission of valid wayleave approvals to the Project Managers and Land Surveyors and notifying them of expiry date of wayleave approval.
• Daily update of the spreadsheet for any changes on outgoing wayleaves.
• Weekly submission of steering committee report Line Manager
• Bi-weekly submission of updated wayleave progress spreadsheet
• Daily record of outgoing wayleave information
• Daily submission of wayleave application approvals and general correspondence to archive
• Inspection of the following: Excavations, pipeline specials, pipe-line operations, concrete, brickwork, valve chamber and culvert construction
• Attend site meetings; liaise with consultants; conduct pipeline
• Dealing with applications i.e. incoming correspondence, checking, annotation of accompanying drawings
• Letters in reply stipulating Rand Water’s conditions for the protection of its services
• Issuing of Inspection Orders to Regional Superintendents – Bulk Water Supply, Central Depot
• Protect Rand Water’s interests in matters relating to Notice of Encroachments i.e. correspondence – follow-ups
• Provide Central and District Depots with information as and when required relating to work to be carried out near RW’s services
• Attend site meetings; liaise with internal stakeholders
• Keep abreast of new information and technology

About the Job

Job Advert Summary

• Rand Water is looking for a candidate who will be responsible for maintaining, manufacturing and installing of pipelines and structural equipment.

Minimum Requirements

•  Grade 12 or equivalent 
•  Qualified Welder 
•  Minimum N2 coupled with a relevant recognized apprenticeship 
•  3-5 years relevant welding experience 
•  Ability to do relevant maintenance on pipelines 
•  Experience on welding aluminum and s/steel will be an added advantage 
•  Code 10 driver’s license coupled with a PrDP is essential 
•  Preference will be given to applicants with disabilities
