    Junior Building Systems Technician

    • This role will suit a person with a Diploma, certificate, or degree in a technical or built environment field (Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, etc.) Min 0–3 years of experience in fieldwork, technical support, construction or sales support. Drivers licence (Must have) The successful candidate thrives in real‑world environments and wants to be out in the field, not behind a desk.

    Shear Manager

    Why do we need you ?

    • Ensure implementation, control, and management of all legal and ISO systems at both Germiston factories (Plasters and Metals)
    • Ensure Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental systems are in compliance.
    • Monitoring compliance OSHAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, Saint –Gobain Standards, legal requirement and ensure recommendations or deviations are closed out promptly.
    • Ensure actions from risk assessments/profiles are implemented and risks are reduced.
    • Ensure monthly safety reports and quarterly risk control reports are timeously compiled and submitted.
    • Ensure that medical surveillance programs are implemented
    • Ensure that all necessary surveys are conducted, and actions are followed through to completion.
    • Co-ordinate incident and accident investigations where required ensure actions from incident and accident investigations are followed through to completion.
    • Utilise WCM toolset in application of daily activities.
    • Initiate mandatory ISO requirement meetings, compilation of monthly reports, and maintain all quality records.
    • Ensure compliance to Safety Regulations and that applicable reports and communication is done on time.

    • The ideal candidate must have a completed Matric and it would be an added advantage should the candidate possess a relevant qualification in Safety/Health/Environment/Quality including a formal qualification in SABS ISO 9000, 14000, 18001, and auditing qualification. The ideal candidate must have a SAMTRAC certification or equivalent and at least five years of experience in a manufacturing/ plant environment.  Candidate must have the ability to interact with all role players, customers, and ISO/WCM Auditors at all levels.

    Project Manager

    Why do we need you ?

    • Build sustainable customer relationships in order to maximise market advantage. This is to be achieved by focussing on the whole value chain e.g  developers; designers; specialist distributors and clients cultivating  sustainable relationships at concept stage, through all the project stages to site level.
    • Proactively identify new opportunities for enhanced specifications, uncovering and understanding these through application of trained techniques, supply chain knowledge, commercial awareness and in depth knowledge of customers’ businesses.
    • Ensure for profitable development of project pipeline, specifying the range of solutions  including value-add and new products, actively engaging with specifiers and influencers, such as Developers, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers and Sub-contractors at concept stage (PSA 1) to promote Drywall instead of Conventional Brick or AAC Block / thereby creating solid relationships, growing sub-contractor loyalty   .
    • Ensure follow though from specification to application in line with KPI to ensure that you deliver sales revenue for the region.
    • Provide on-site technical support for key customers on project sites within a sales region, working as part of an integrated regional team to drive our Product Leadership proposition to develop customer satisfaction.
    • Manage the QS function in the region ensuring that projects are serviced professionally from a QS point of view.
    • Adherence to Company reporting procedure/commercial admin systems, offering appropriate feedback and information ensuring that strict  observance to ethical codes of conduct and maintenance of confidentiality at all times
    • Demand planning and forecasting for Regional projects at requested date
    • Successful management of CRM Project leads through specifiers where applicable to better track project pipeline

    • This role requires an individual with a National Diploma in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related built environment discipline. Minimum 3 years sales experience with a focus in specification sales in the construction, building materials, or project specification environment, with exposure to architectural engagement, contractor coordination, and technical solution selling. Drivers License- the role requires someone who is willing to travel. A suitable candidate have the ability to influence project stakeholders, including architects, developers, and contractors and be proactive in identifying project opportunities and building a sustainable pipeline of specifications.     • A bachelor's degree is mandatory for this role, preferably a BCom in a relevant field, with a strong preference for Human Resource Management. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of HR business partnering experience within a unionized manufacturing environment. Digital proficiency is essential, requiring familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other digital tools.
    • The candidate should possess knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, including experience with WCM, Lean, Six Sigma, or other manufacturing excellence programs.
