    Job Description

    • We are seeking an organised and collaborative Events Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. In this Contract position, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of corporate events, conferences, and experiential programmes.
    • The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong people skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and attendee experience.
    • Plan and coordinate events from conception through to completion, including conferences, product launches, networking functions, and corporate gatherings
    • Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and secure venues and suppliers to deliver cost-effective solutions
    • Develop comprehensive event timelines, checklists, and contingency plans to ensure seamless execution

    Vice President, Real Estate Finance, Investment Banking

    Job Description

    To manage assigned Real Estate Finance Solutions (REF) across the deal lifecycle, ensuring clients needs are met and individual financial KPI's are achieved. Essential Functions include the following :

    • Lead deal negotiations for vanilla and structured Debt Solutions. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to complete all contracting requirements, deal commercial terms and closing processes to drive the realization of commercial targets, maximizing shareholder returns and growing IB revenue.
    • Conduct research and provide key insights for team members to utilize when setting criteria and defining the client segment in support of identifying and implementing continuous improvement and development initiatives.
    • Manage delivery against allocated deal revenue targets. Measure, monitor and report on financial performance for assigned portfolio of deals versus the budget.
    • Own and lead the conceptual design of REF financial models (e.g. valuations, financial, transactional) ensuring updates and adjustments are made, and test reliability and validity to effectively structure vanilla and structured Debt Solutions. Finalize supporting documentation (e.g. offering memorandums, engagement letters, term sheets, pricing supplements and legal
    • agreements) to ensure solutions are aligned to the clients' needs and CIB commercial, risk and regulatory frameworks.

    Qualifications

    • Post Graduate Degree in Business Commerce, Finance or Accounting 
    • 5-7 years experience in managing, leading and coordinating deal teams with a proven track record of delegating and prioritizing tasks through the lending valuation.
    • 5- 7 years demonstrated experience in Commercial Property Finance 
    • 5-7 years experience partnering specialist risk areas,  to align to business risk management requirements, policies and procedures. Portfolio monitoring to manage risk and exposure. Experience working with and interpreting relevant regulatory frameworks.
    • 5-7 years understanding and knowledge of local and global Lending products to effectively develop and present innovative client solutions. Leading client engagements and Debt Solutions from cradle to grave, with relevant sector and / or country experience. Conducting financial analysis, report writing and presenting to stakeholders.
