Job Description

• Use discipline and business knowledge to perform daily accounting operations, prepare ledgers and financial statements, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all gathered data and information. Participate in the audit process and assess any potential risk exposure so that risk is managed and mitigated.

Qualifications

• Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
• Field of Study: Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting
• Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Membership: CA (SA) 

Experience Required

• 3-4 years experience in demonstrated ability to collaborate and build networks to solve a range of complicated problems and analysing possible solutions.
• 3-4 years experience in demonstrated ability to prepare ledgers and financial statements and perform other relevant accounting practices.
• 3-4 years experience in Product Control in a banking environment.
• 3-4 years experience in demonstrated track record using technical knowledge, logical data driven arguments to influence people and the right reporting outcome.
• 3-4 years experience in developing in-depth knowledge about the Finance Operations capability as a whole and/ or in an area of specialisation, with growing knowledge of core products and business lines that are serviced.
