    Senior SEO Manager

    Senior SEO Manager

    The Senior SEO Manager shall be the main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring client objectives are met, by implementing client strategy through agreed tasks and working with a support team to deliver. The role requires a good understanding of all facets of SEO and on-site/off-site

    SEO and how this drives elevated visibility and engagement for brands online as well as how different markets operate. It requires an ability to be highly motivated, articulate, both when speaking to clients, writing documents and analyzing results, a problem solver and a creative mind. It also requires initiative and proactivity in growing client relationships and subsequent budgets, increasing efficiencies and identifying new client opportunities.

    The SEO Strategist should understand how other marketing efforts can influence SEO strategies (Content Marketing, Social Media, PPC, and Display), and the optimization and research tools available in the market - when they should be used and their relative strengths and limitations.

    Requirements

    • Clear practical understanding of core SEO principles and strategies, including but not limited to Content Marketing and Social Media
    • Ability to perform onsite and offsite technical SEO analysis, as well as problem-solve to provide technical insights and fixes to problems identified
    • Develop and present new SEO strategies through sound data analysis
    • Proficient in Google Analytics, with working understanding and the ability to identify key insights
    • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and key SEO tools
    • Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate both internally and with clientele in a professional manner and develop relationships
    • Client management - manage clients in a professional and timeous manner, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded in all areas
    • Must be able to work autonomously, maintaining your own schedule and ensuring all deadlines are met
    • Team player who is able to work together with colleagues and across teams to achieve internal and client objectives
    • A willingness to continue the development of knowledge and grow the skill set through personal reading and research

    Paid Media Manager

    The Role

    A Paid Media Manager is responsible for the day to day operational delivery of search campaigns - overseeing a small team (Account Managers & Executives). They ensure client objectives are understood, service levels remain high, and client expectations are met. The role requires an excellent understanding of search principles, how the markets operate, plus an advanced analytic aptitude. It requires an ability to be highly motivated, numerate, and articulate, both when speaking to clients, writing documents, and analyzing results. It also requires initiative and pro-activity in growing search accounts, increasing efficiencies, and identifying new client opportunities. They should understand how other media can influence search, the principles of SEO, SEM, and the optimization and research tools available in the market - when they should be used and their relative strengths and limitations.

    Requirements

    • Have the ability to set up a search campaign from scratch - from keyword and ad copy creation to trafficking and uploading accounts ∙
    • Have the ability to set up a search and display campaign from scratch.
    • Be highly competent in all aspects of the day to day management of a search & display account.
    • Take responsibility for the planning and forecasting of budgets for monthly activity.
    • Take responsibility for the implementation and optimization of Search & Display campaigns within your team.
    • Be responsible for the management of day to day account requirements - including… generating results with insight and rationale, running status meetings, and optimizing campaigns to deliver against client objectives.
    • Able to run a team - including training, effective communication, and planning as well as delegation.
    • Take responsibility for scheduling and attending client meetings and producing contact reports to convey any items discussed.
    • Be competent in the use of client-specific management tools - for example, Analytics packages such as Google Analytics, as well as market research tools including Google Insights for Search.
    • Maintain regular contact with clients, keeping them up-to-date on all search matters.
    • Present client results, marketplace updates, and competitive reports.
    • Demonstrate confidence and clarity in communicating with the team and seniors.
    • Maintain strong working relationships with other relevant departments.
    • Understand the role of search and display in the wider marketing mix.
    • Ensure transparency and understanding of team activities.
    • Demonstrate a high competency of using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Be administratively competent.
