    Digital Product Manager

    Job Description
    This role provides a unique opportunity to combine Deep Client & Colleague Insights with Emerging technology to drive delivery and execute on our digital strategy for Online Frameworks. Frameworks are a key enabler in our CIB strategy to build a winning Corporate bank, by providing Pan-Africa platforms where clients can access their CIB services.
    This is achieved through close collaboration with Clients, Product, Infrastructure, Operations, Tech, and Design teams to co-create solutions. This role will be responsible for planning and execution of business objectives alongside the tech team throughout the business development lifecycle in accordance with Scaled Agile methodology and will be the key interlock between Business and Technology.

    This role is perfect for a person with a pioneering mindset, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys finding ways to deal with a high degree of complexity, and is energised by the possibility of how digital can transform the client & colleague experience in banking.

    • Execute the strategic roadmap for Online Frameworks in partnership with client, product and technology.
    • Manage and Track Dependencies within the development team as well as external dependencies from other teams and deliverables.
    • Portfolio management: Plan and manage ongoing channel investment and activity in-line with defined portfolio balance required. Include capacity and capability planning and development
    • Demand Planning: Own and Manage Prioritisation model and decision making based on Economic value
    • Build frameworks pipeline of work with JTBD (Jobs to be done) Methodology.
    • Validated learning model: Using the validated learning approach to ensure initiatives have clearly defined value propositions, assumptions/hypothesis to be proved through Minimum Lovable Product (MLP).
    • Agree Channel group SLA’s with key stakeholders. Set SLA’s with key support teams. Manage and drive ongoing SLA improvements
    • Quality of Service (QOS) : Drive consistent improvement of all services quality levels
    • Assess Fraud and Operational risks and implement relevant mitigation strategies with a view to consistently reducing organisation and/ or reputational risk

    Minimum Education And Experience

    • 7-10 years’ experience in the financial services industry
    • 2-3 years’ experience in Online Frameworks
    • 2-3 years’ experience in managing third-party/outsourced vendors development teams
    • Corporate Banking Product experience
    • Online Channel and Product Management experience
    • Bachelor Honours Degree in Business or Information Technology

    Education

    • Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Physical, Mathematical, Computer and Life Sciences (Required)

    Credit Risk Analyst

    Job Summary

    Join the Home Loans Risk team within Absa RBB where you will be responsible for credit risk model building, strategy development and analytics i.e responsible for developing, monitoring and tracking management information (MI) of strategies and developing reports to highlight trends to management within the Home Loans Portfolio.

    Key accountabilities of the role include:

    • Design and development of data driven strategies within the Home Loans Risk team across Acquisitions, Pricing, Profitability, Portfolio Management, Collections and/or Recoveries areas.
    • Sourcing, consolidating and analyzing large data sets, utilizing strong SAS skills and identifying anomalies/trends.
    • Liaising with relevant stakeholders, including IT, Operations, Finance and other Risk teams
    • Identifying gaps in Acquisitions, Pricing, Profitability, Portfolio Management and Collections & Recoveries processes and strategies and providing solutions to closing the gaps/streamlining processes
    • Presentation of analytical results and proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences, providing commentary as required
    • In addition, responsible for developing monitoring and tracking management information (MI) of strategies and developing reports to highlight trends to management within the Portfolio.
    • Your ability to “hit the ground running”, strategic risk experience as well as solid SAS/Data Analytics skills will serve you well in this role. A strong quantitative, stats and/or actuarial background with a track record of running with an entire project from conceptualization, to extraction of data, to formulating strategies and subsequent impacts of implementation through to excellent stakeholder engagement and management will be an added advantage.

    Education and Experience:

    • B Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Risk Management
    • 2-5 years’ experience in data analysis, utilising a standard statistical package such as SAS working with large data sets
    • 2-5 years Credit Risk experience
    • Advanced computer literacy especially the Microsoft Office suite of programs
    • Experience in model building (application/behavioral/collections scorecard)

    Knowledge & Skills:

    • SAS Programming
    • A strong understanding of key credit risk metrics
    • Project Management experience an advantage
    • User Acceptance Testing
    • Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which will assist in cases where systems/processes may be impacted
