    Quality Assurance Officer - Kwazulu Natal

     KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Testing & Quality Assurance

    • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test suites across functional, regression, performance, and API testing layers
    • Conduct API testing using Postman and SoapUI across payment integrations and digital onboarding services
    • Execute performance and load testing using JMeter to validate system behaviour under real-world conditions
    • Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution, ensuring clear and accurate defect reporting

    Compliance & Security

    • Identify security and compliance gaps in software delivery, flagging risks in line with financial services regulatory requirements
    • Ensure QA activities support adherence to relevant compliance frameworks applicable to the banking environment

    Process Improvement

    • Continuously review and improve existing QA processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation and efficiency gains
    • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality across software delivery
    • Collaborate with developers during sprint planning to define acceptance criteria and shift testing left in the delivery cycle

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build effective working relationships with developers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders
    • Communicate quality risks, test progress, and outcomes in a clear and timely manner
    • Ensure stakeholder expectations around quality and release readiness are managed effectively

    Qualifications

    • Relevant degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
    • ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent (preferred)
    • Agile / Scrum training or certification advantageous

    Preferred experience

    • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance within a software delivery environment
    • Hands-on experience testing Mendix low-code applications
    • Experience working in fintech, payments, or banking and financial services
    • Practical experience with Postman / Newman, SoapUI, and JMeter or Gatling
    • Proven track record working within Agile / Scrum delivery teams
    • Exposure to real-time payments, digital onboarding, or payment rails advantageous

    Social Responsibility & Marketing Officer

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Research, Engagement & Administration

    • Assess sponsorship and charity requests and conduct detailed background and compliance checks on applicants.
    • Engage and communicate with applicants, beneficiaries, suppliers, and stakeholders professionally and efficiently.
    • Assist with the preparation and administration of social responsibility initiatives and community projects.
    • Conduct research into community development opportunities, loyalty programme initiatives, and strategic partnerships.

    Reporting, Proposals & Strategy Support

    • Prepare detailed reports, proposals, recommendation packs, and submissions for committee and management review.
    • Assist with the preparation of monthly Executive Committee (Exco) reports.
    • Provide administrative and strategic support from a marketing and communications perspective on all CSR and sponsorship initiatives.
    • Assist with marketing strategy input and campaign planning for social responsibility and loyalty programme initiatives.

    Loyalty Programme Development & Management

    • Assist in the development, implementation, coordination, and ongoing management of loyalty programmes and related campaigns.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to improve loyalty offerings and customer engagement.
    • Monitor programme performance and provide recommendations for improvements and growth.

    Content Creation, Digital Marketing & Communication

    • Assist to create engaging content for digital platforms, internal communication, and marketing campaigns.
    • Assist with copywriting for media releases, social media content, presentations, reports, and promotional material.
    • Support the Marketing Department with digital marketing initiatives and campaign execution.

    Project Management & Event Coordination

    • Coordinate sponsorship and CSR projects from planning through to implementation and reporting.
    • Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of initiatives and events.
    • Process payments, maintain records, and ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.

    Meetings, Governance & Compliance

    • Prepare documentation and supporting information for meetings and committee reviews.
    • Attend internal and external meetings and follow up on action items and approvals.
    • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and collaborate with the Shariah Audit team where required.
    • Assist with the administration and coordination of B-BBEE requirements relating to the Marketing and Social Responsibility Department.
    • Manage supplier BEE certification records and support transformation and economic empowerment initiatives.

    Giving for Hope Programme

    • Assist with the management and administration of the charity loan programme.
    • Monitor payments, maintain accurate records, and coordinate the handover of late payment matters to attorneys where necessary.
    • Facilitate the capturing and reconciliation of loan payments and related documentation.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Diploma or Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or related field will be advantageous.
    • Knowledge of digital marketing and content creation tools will be advantageous.
    • Financial or banking background will be advantageous.

    EXPERIENCE

    • A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in Corporate Social Investment, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields.
    • Experience in digital marketing, content creation, copywriting, and campaign coordination will be advantageous.
    • Experience in event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project management will be advantageous.
