    Coordinator - Maintenance

    Work Experience:

    • 3 – 5 Years of experience in a similar role
    • Computer literate
    • CMMS – experience of computerized management maintenance systems(SAP PM)
    • Understanding of practical implementation of OHSAct
    • Finance – budgeting and OPEX planning
    • Continuous improvement
    • Environmental knowledge
    • 2 years’ experience in petrochemical industry
    • 2 years’ experience supervising/coordinating an on-site maintenance team
    • Experience in lubricants manufacturing environment
    • Experience in FMCG or production related environment
    • Project coordination experience and managing contractors
    • Experience in conducting RCA’s related to equipment failure

    Maintenance

    • Do planned maintenance scheduling, update schedules and sign off on completed schedules
    • Conduct plant inspections, and issue unplanned maintenance schedules
    • Issue job cards and maintenance schedules.
    • Ensure maintenance staff carry out correct repairs
    • Ensure replacement equipment is properly overhauled for re-use
    • Ensure maintenance schedules are properly and correctly completed
    • Report all maintenance problems and repairs to the Engineering Manager
    • Report on all spares required for the next maintenance stoppage

    Knowledge and skills:

    • Knowledge of conveyors, motors, pumps, piping, boilers, compressors
    • Knowledge of HV, MV and LV electrical reticulation systems
    • Basic electrical engineering knowledge
    • Knowledge of fluids and thermodynamics
    • Knowledge of the OHSACT specifically GMR, EMR and PER
    • Self-motivated

    Balance Sheet Planner

    Responsibilities : -

    • Balance sheet planning and forecast – covering business planning and forecasting as primary responsibility, with remaining balance sheet items managed via interaction and collaboration with the responsible team members in the finance team.
    • Capital planning – covering the Astron Energy Group and representing the FP&A Group on project teams, providing management financial assurance on capital projects. 
    • Develop & maintain the Enterprise Project Business Plan by interaction with Strategy, Business Unit leads, financial managers, Treasury and Exco.  Oversee approval of the Projects Business Plan. Drive adherence to AFE policy with reviews of AFE to ensure company objectives are met.
    • Management of Value Office function – ensuring governance standards are adhered to and improved upon in supporting the Astron Energy strategies across business units.

    Financial Perspective

    • On time and accurate preparation and approval of Balance sheet Business Plan and forecasts.
    • Stakeholder satisfaction with assurance that capital spend is adequately planned, tracked and executed within plan to achieve the project objectives.
    • AFE reviews completed on time with clear assessment of AFE outcomes in line with company financial objectives.
    • Stakeholder satisfaction with support from value office ensuring meaningful partnerships formed whilst adhering to governance methodologies.
    • Timeous and accurate balance sheet reporting to ensure allow for management responses where applicable.

    • Top management satisfaction on:
    • Balance sheet Planning and forecasting process Balance sheet reporting Timeous AFE review and feedback Ongoing value office support

    Professional Qualification and Certifications:

    • B.Com degree or similar or an Engineer with an MBA or CIMA (CA) SA

    Work Experience:

    • At least 7 years’ experience within large industrial plants (preferred Oil Refining and Downstream Businesses).  The incumbent must have experience in business planning.

    Knowledge and skills:

    A thorough understanding of the entire Astron fuels value chain, which includes the following:

    • Manufacturing (Refinery, Lubricants)
    • Supply chain (Fuels, Lubricants)
    • Marketing (Retail, Aviation, C&I, Lubricants, Bulk System Sales exports)
    • Support Services

    Business Process Architect

    Responsibilities:

    • Supporting the Enterprise Architecture to model processes across the layers (business, application, information, technology and security) to support medium and long term business objectives, including innovation and digital roadmap
    • Responsible for ensuring business processes are aligned to best practice and maintained, additionally how the business and processes need to change to support business strategy at a lower level of business or quality improvement.
    • Value Chain Mapping and driving alignment of all processes to the Astron Energy Logical Operating Model
    • Managing large-scale, cross-functional, complex process improvement initiatives
    • Conducting proactive and consistent research to identify process improvement opportunity, applying Lean principles where applicable and measures to determine and report on returned value at each iteration
    • Promotes Lean principles to all processes, particular focus on the core processes of the value chain
    • Assess and decide on methodologies, tools and techniques to lead process design and review initiatives
    • Contributes to define architecture frameworks to support enabling multi speed deployment with effective management controls
    • Defines KPIs and performs regular reviews to monitor performance.  Provides management information to the CXO and business units (EXCO) on relevant enterprise architecture initiatives
    • Defining and ensuring appropriate governance and controls for business process management and participation in relevant governance forums
    • Supports the Business and ensure business processes are aligned to best practice and maintained.
    • Collaborate with the Capex Office and Project Support Group on project demand management and provide inputs to ensure standards and alignment to business processes and strategy

    Professional Qualification and Certifications:

    • BSc Engineering or similar qualification
    • MBA (preferred)
    • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Practitioner
    • Project Management certification (PMP, Agile or similar)

    Work Experience:

    • 10+ years of business process management experience
    • 10+ years industry experience in Oil & Gas
    • Experience working within cross business functions
    • Extensive coaching, mentoring and facilitation experience

    Knowledge and skills:

    • Demonstrated ability to independently facilitate cross-functional teams in the improvement of challenging work processes to deliver impact results
    • Strong knowledge of Business Strategy and Enterprise Architecture disciplines - including business process architecture, information / data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture
    • Excellent strategic and tactical planning capabilities - proven experience in managing relationships with business leaders and external vendors
    • Strong knowledge of general business processes - organisational performance and financial management
    • Proven leadership - including team effectiveness, managing transformation and change management
    • Demonstrate ability to independently facilitate cross-functional teams in the improvement of challenging work processes to deliver impact results.
    • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of individuals.
    • Understanding business needs and identifying how best to meet those needs.
    • Work with business and technology areas to gather requirements for development and management.
    • Ability to analyse complex data, understands process performance and develops detailed plans to close gaps.
