    Senior Project Manager SAP, Infrastructure and Software Development

    • A rewarding opportunity awaits a skilled Senior Project Manager: SAP, Infrastructure and Software Development at AVI IT Shared Services Division in Cape Town at our Waterfront Office or in Johannesburg at our Bryanston office. Your role will be to oversee multiple strategic/non-strategic projects. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within specification according to the ITSS project management methodology.

    Reporting Structure:

    • Reports to: Senior Manager Project Management Office
    • Direct Reports: None

    Key Areas of Impact:

    Project Delivery

    • Projects are delivered within agreed scope and project milestones completed on time with sign off
    • Complete project within allocated budget and/or hours
    • Effective management of project teams
    • Effective and pro-active risk and issue management

    Project Governance

    • Complete PMO report
    • Ensure AVI PMO lifecycle is adhered to
    • Change control enforced for all projects
    • Quality of project documentation

    Project Communication

    • Stakeholders informed of project progress, issues and risks
    • Ensure consistent stakeholder satisfaction
    • Relevant Project Advisories distributed where applicable

    Project Teamwork

    • Actively participate in team discussion and share knowledge with the team

    What It Takes to Succeed:

    Experience that set you up for success:

    • 7 - 10 years’ experience in SAP, Infrastructure or Software Development Project management
    • Experience in completing 5 - 8 full project cycles (from project preparation to implementation IT Infrastructure/Application experience)                

    Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:

    • Matric/Grade 12
    • Diploma or Degree in Project Management
    • PMBOK and/or Agile qualification
    • PMP and/or ACP Advantageous

    Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success:

    • PMBOK and/or Agile
    • MS Project
    • MS Office
    • Knowledgeable of SAP projects
    • Knowledgeable of IT Infrastructure projects
    • Knowledgeable of Software Development projects

    • National Brands Limited (NBL) is seeking two (2) enthusiastic INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING IN-SERVICE TRAINEES to join our NBL ROSSLYN SNACKS FACTORY, based in Rosslyn, Pretoria. The successful candidate will report to the Site Industrial Engineer and form part of a team of key players in driving efficiency and innovation. Your role will involve hands-on work in our factory, where you’ll acquire practical experience, utilise relevant tools, and develop your skills in report writing and presenting findings.

    What you will be doing:

    • Dive into Process Methods: Improve and refine our process methods and effectiveness.
    • Optimise Operations: Explore ways to enhance and streamline operational processes.
    • Labour Analysis Projects: Take on exciting projects analysing labor efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Capital Expenditure Projects: Contribute to impactful projects and investments.
    • Quality Control Initiatives: Engage in initiatives and projects to maintain and elevate quality standards.

    • A Bachelor of Sciences or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology with a major in Industrial Engineering
    • A minimum average of 70% in the final year of studies
