    Management Accountant (Administrator)

    Job Description

    A multi-national holding company is seeking the assistance of an Administrator/Accountant for their insurance business. This person will be managing the scheme cash book, premium submission, and collection and be the main contact between the business’s finances and payroll of various operating companies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Managing of scheme cashbook

    • Insurance premiums submission and collection

    • Manage insurers

    • Manage income

    Requirements:

    Treasury Supervisor

    Job Description

    My client, a leader in their field with a worldwide presence, is looking to take on an experienced Treasury Supervisor. They require a detail-oriented team player who can manage and meet various deadlines and solve problems by keeping calm and communicating effectively.  If you are a detail-oriented self-starter with focus and a “can-do” attitude, then this role could be for you.

    Responsibilities:

    • Primary responsibility is to ensure accurate cash flow forecasting and efficient resulting investment/disinvestment and funding obligations are actioned meticulously daily

    • Liaising with local and foreign banking institutions

    • Assisting with reviewing the monthly treasury reconciliations

    • Assisting and driving the resolution of any queries on monthly treasury reconciliations

    • Term funding requirements

    • Completion and submission of all legislative documentary requirements to various institutions

     

    Requirements:

    • BComm Degree and experience is essential

    • Experience in general finance processes including, inter alia, bank reconciliations, foreign currency translation and conversion, resolving bank queries etc.

    • Supervisory experience

    Payroll Manager

    Job Description

    My client, based in the CBD, is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team. If you are looking for an opportunity to grow and develop within your area of expertise, then this company is the place to be. Manage a fair-sized team and handle a national and international payroll. This role requires the experience of someone who has around eight years in payroll and around five of those years in a management position. Join this well-known dynamic company and become an integral part of the organisation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the Supervisor and team to ensure all responsibilities are carried out accurately and on time

    • Oversee and check the directors' and non-executive directors’ payrolls

    • Sign off all month-to-month payroll comparison and exception reports

    • Agree final monthly payroll close-off dates based on input volumes and checking

    • Give the go-ahead for the payroll to run and/or open for the next pay run

    • Ensure monthly and weekly payrolls are processed timeously and accurately

    • Document and analyse all payroll processes with the intention of automating as much as possible

    • Deal with professional services companies in all African countries regarding pay rules and statutory submissions 

     

    Requirements:

    • BComm Degree

    • Team management experience essential

    • A good understanding of the BCEA and an added advantage would be to understand Sectorial Determination 9

    • Computer literate (MS Office Suite), excellent excel skills and knowledge of the Oracle HR and payroll system or its equivalent essential

    • Eight years in payroll and around five of those years in a management position
