Role Purpose

As Forensics Director, you will:

• Develop and implement the forensic investigation and accounting strategy, policies, and methodologies.
• Establish clear protocols and guidelines to ensure industry-aligned investigation standards.
• Review investigation reports and ensure procedural and legal integrity.
• Support internal fraud and corruption reporting mechanisms.
• Deliver high-quality operational and strategic reports.
• Cultivate relationships with law enforcement and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
• Champion continuous improvement in the forensic division’s operations and client service.
• Provide leadership across service delivery, business development, and team performance.
• Contribute to talent development and succession planning.
• Oversee business development initiatives to expand client reach and market presence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum NQF level 8 qualification in Accounting (BCom Honours or equivalent) or Law (LLB, BProc, BJuris), registered with SAICA or a relevant professional body.
• A Master’s degree in a legal or financial field is highly advantageous.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation is required.
• FP(SA) designation will be a plus.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in forensic investigations, with at least 10 years at a senior management level.
• Proven ability in consulting, client management, business development, and report writing.
• Experience working across both public and private sectors.

• Strong technical knowledge of white-collar crime legislation, fraud schemes, and investigative methodologies.
• Exceptional report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy, drive growth, and deliver quality results.

Qualification:

• Relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., BCom Honours in Forensic Accountancy, LLB, BProc).
• Master’s Degree in Financial, Legal, or Business disciplines (preferred).
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) required.
• Membership with relevant professional bodies (e.g., ICFP, ACFE) advantageous.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own and lead the enterprise-wide pricing strategy, ensuring alignment with broader commercial objectives.
• Benchmark market-related pricing and develop robust pricing models and frameworks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Finance, Costing, and Network teams to drive effective costing strategies.
• Lead the pricing governance process, ensuring compliance and structure across products and services.
• Conduct detailed competitive analysis and scenario modelling to inform pricing decisions.
• Build business cases for new market and product opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
• Provide commercial insight on market trends, technologies, and product performance to influence high-level decisions.
• Lead and manage RFP responses from a pricing and costing perspective.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in pricing strategy, commercial analytics, and product costing within telecoms, technology, or a related industry.
• Strong financial and business acumen, with experience in investment case development.
• Solid leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Advanced analytical and modelling capability – scenario planning, cost analysis, value-based pricing.
• A collaborative, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What you will need:

• A relevant 3-year degree (NQF level 7) in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a Statistical field.
• A postgraduate degree such as an MBA would be a strong advantage.
• 8+ years of experience in a commercial environment, with a strong focus on pricing, costing, and financial strategy.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing market-aligned pricing frameworks.
• At least 3 years in a senior leadership or executive role, with proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive business outcomes.
• Solid track record of assessing new products or market opportunities from a commercial viability perspective.
