    Communications Officer (Cape Town)

    The DA wishes to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated and goal driven individual, who will be based at our Federal Head Office in Cape Town. The successful candidate will report to the National Communications Manager.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Ensuring all communication is of the highest possible standard
    • Facilitating the delivery of all Party communication to the media
    • Maintaining and updating accurate media databases
    • Managing the Party’s Sunday media operation
    • Monitoring developments in the media to advise on any developments
    • Assisting with the planning and coordination of media events

    Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate or equivalent
    • Communications or related qualification essential

    Provincial Director (Limpopo)

    The DA wishes to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated and goal driven individual, who will be based at our Provincial Head Office in Polokwane, Limpopo. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Operations Officer and the Provincial Chairperson, and work with the relevant Provincial Executive.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Leading, managing and integrating the Provincial Finance, Support Services, Campaign, and Communications teams to ensure that all systems designed are aimed at maximising the Party’s votes in Limpopo
    • Being the interface between the administration and political and campaign structures in the province
    • Providing leadership and direction to all provincial staff

    Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate or equivalent
    • Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
    • Information system and technology skills at intermediate level
    • 5 years’ experience in a senior management role
    • 5 years’ experience in the field of finances and support services
