Regional Election Campaign Administrator (Western Cape) at Democratic Alliance

The DA wishes to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated and goal-driven individual in the Western Cape Metro. The successful candidate will report to the Metro Regional Campaign Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing, implementing and maintaining campaign administrative systems and procedures
• Assisting with the design, implementation and maintenance of a communication system between all formations of the Party pertaining to the rollout of the NPE2024 campaign in the region
• Providing efficient and effective administrative and logistical support to the Metro Regional Campaign
• Manager, including management of their diary
• Producing required weekly campaign reports
• Overseeing the data capturing for the region, including quality assurance mechanisms
• Conducting general campaign administration required in the region
• Acting as the liaison with all relevant stakeholders on behalf of the Metro Regional Campaign Manager

Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent
• Two years’ experience in a similar role (administrative or secretarial support)
• Experience with database management and record keeping
• Experience in project and financial management advantageous
• Experience in events coordination advantageous
• Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
• Proficiency in more than one language advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
• Systematic, comprehensive and displaying excellent attention to detail
• An ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• An ability to work effectively and energetically around a demanding work schedule
• Commitment to the principles, policies and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance
• Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
• Willingness to go the extra mile, which include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays where necessary
• Applicants MUST be in possession of a valid driver’s licence and have access to an insured vehicle for daily use
