• Our next target is to speed up our existing reports and provide increasing detail to understand identified trends.
• To achieve this goal, we’re seeking an impact-orientated BIBA to join our team and help us drive results.
• This role requires the BIBA to gather, understand, analyse, evaluate, and document Data related requirements and then translate these requirements into technical and business solutions that adhere to best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Understand, analyze, evaluate, and document data-related requirements from business users
• Functional design of data-related solutions (Data Warehouse, Reports, Tabular Models, etc.)
• Pro-actively generate and implement process improvements
• Documenting and refining technical requirements
• Data modeling requirements
• Source to target mappings and documentation
• Data and reporting dictionaries
• Process documentation
• Risk assessment
• Testing of existing and new data and development
• Project management of data team projects
• Management of the ticketing system
• Day to day communication with stakeholders

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a BI/Data Business Analyst role.
• Relevant 3-year tertiary or NQF aligned qualification
• Business-related qualification, FTI or similar BA qualification

Role Specific requirements:

• Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Data Engineering environment best practices.
• Good general understanding of business processes.
• Able to work within the framework of the BI methodology.

Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyse data, assess performance, provide insightful and valuable feedback that translates into wins for Flash, and aids in achieving its vision and goals.
• Work closely with the Trader Division Management Team to manage the business unit based on financial and operational metrics.
• Perform and administer commercial modelling.
• Determine and advise on the commercial, and strategic viability of opportunities, products and projects.
• Developing reports to monitor Trader Division performance and measure against financial forecasts.
• Analysis of the operational and financial metrics of the division, with detailed recommendations and action plans
• Drive and maintain Trader Division budget, forecasts and multi-year plans.
• Develop strategic goals within the Trader division.
• Assist in preparing and collating the monthly reporting packs.
• Perform the role as the connection between the finance team and the operational side of the division.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified CA (SA)
• 5 -7 years’ experience in a similar role
• Advanced Excel and business modelling skills
• Excellent communication skills at all stakeholder levels
