    Financial Analyst

    Job Description

    • The Manufacturing Finance Analyst will serve as a dedicated finance business partner to Manufacturing Operations, providing timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting and to support effective cost management, operational efficiency and achievement of the plant’s targets.
    • A key focus of the role will be to develop, implement and continuously improve automated reports, dashboards and data-driven tools for use across the plant. The successful candidate will collaborate with Finance, Operations and other cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable and user-friendly reporting solutions that improve data visibility, reporting accuracy and decision-making speed.
    • The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with data, financial systems and automation tools, and must have the ability to translate business requirements into practical reporting solutions for plant stakeholders.

    Responsibilities
    Financial Analysis and Business Support

    • Support plant financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes.
    • Analyse manufacturing costs, variances, operating expenses, material costs, labour costs and plant performance indicators.
    • Provide timely, accurate and value-adding financial information to plant leadership and cross-functional business partners.
    • Support month-end close activities, financial reviews, reconciliations and management reporting.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities, financial risks and process improvement areas.
    • Assist with the preparation of business cases, financial models and investment-related analysis where required.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate financial policies, governance requirements and reporting standards.

    Automation, Reporting and Digital Enablement

    • Lead and support the development of automated financial and operational reports for use across the plant.
    • Design, build and maintain dashboards, data models and reporting tools that improve visibility of key plant metrics.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and convert them into efficient, user-friendly automated solutions.
    • Improve existing manual reporting processes by identifying opportunities for automation, standardisation and simplification.
    • Ensure automated reports are accurate, reliable, well-controlled and aligned to plant business requirements.
    • Train and support plant users in the adoption of automated reports and self-service reporting tools.

    Business Partnering and Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with Manufacturing Operations, Purchasing and other key stakeholders to identify, quantify and deliver cost-reduction opportunities.
    • Provide financial analysis to support operational efficiency and continuous-improvement initiatives.
    • Proactively identify expenditure trends, cost deviations, inefficiencies and potential areas of waste.
    • Work closely with assigned operational teams to align daily activities with the plant’s financial objectives.
    • Develop strong working relationships with Manufacturing Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Material Planning and Logistics, Human Resources, IT and other relevant functions.
    • Engage with operational area leads and department managers to understand their financial and reporting requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Related field
    • At least 5 years’ experience in Finance, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment.
    • Proven experience in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data.
    • Experience developing reporting solutions from initial business requirements through to implementation and user adoption.

    STA Resident Manager

    Job Description

    • The Resident STA Manager is based within the Ford Silverton Assembly Plant and is responsible for driving Supplier Quality related plant quality containment actions, resolving 0 Month-In-Service (0 MIS) BSAQ issues, and managing campaign actions to keep the plant running without stoppage. The role is embedded in the plant, collaborating daily with Internal Quality, Plant Vehicle Teams (PVT), Site STA Managers, Engineers, Ford Cross Functional Teams and Suppliers. The role carries full management responsibility for the Resident STA Engineer team and is accountable, at a high level, for all tasks and outcomes delivered by that team.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and lead the Resident STA Engineer team, prioritizing and allocating resources to achieve Resident objectives
    • Lead Zero Defect SAR and Top Supplier Improvement actions and drive Continuous Improvements.
    • Represent STA Function at Ford Plant for all communications and leadership interactions
    • Drive quick containment and closure of special-cause supplier process zero MIS BSAQ (Balanced Single Agenda for Quality) projects, aligning with VRT (Variability Reduction Team) on Supplier Process BSAQ glidepath values 
    • Facilitate resolution support with PVT (Plant Vehicle Team) and/or Manufacturing where suppliers require assistance from Ford 
    • Manage threshold QR (Quality Reject) issues and dispute resolution per the escalation process 
    • Drive timely containment of stop shipments and accurate binning of root cause owner in BSAQ 
    • Manage campaign actions arising from Supplier Quality issues and drive for early closure & Robust containment actions. 
    • Own and drive e-Paynter management, tracking and improvement actions across suppliers 
    •  Lead Top Supplier Special Attention Reviews (SAR)<br>• Conduct Selective Zero-Defect Quality SAR reviews, including Gemba visits at supplier locations 
    • Ensure execution of all STA Resident responsible actions within the Top Supplier Incoming Quality process 
    • Support Global Quality status reporting by driving timely closure and accuracy of Top Warranty issues 
    • Drive active participation in VRT / Problem Resolution Team (PRT) forums, and Vehicle Quality Reviews (VQR's) / Product Commodity Team (PCT) reviews as required 
    • Direct Resident Supplier representatives in ensuring supplier responsiveness 
    • Support the STA Launch Exit Plan at the plant for all major programs 
    • Support the On-Site-Modification process through QR2 (Incoming Quality Concerns System) approvals 
    • Act as direct liaison between STA and Plant Management, representing the PVT resident perspective 
    • Drive adherence to all organizational and corporate policies and procedures
    • Prioritize STA Resident Engineer training and provide performance feedback through the Performance Review process 
    • Lead employee development consistent with Human Resources policy and procedures 
    • Oversee and be accountable, at a high level, for all tasks performed by the Resident STA Engineer team, including containment support, QR/PPM data accuracy, non-responsive supplier escalation, Zero QR SAR management, and Resident QOS reporting to STA Cross Functional Teams

    Qualifications

    • Qualification: Bachelor of Science / Engineering or academic equivalent 
    • Prior Manager-level experience 
    • Site, Program, and/or Resident Engineer experience 
    • Manufacturing or Quality experience 
    • Knowledge of Problem-Solving Tools and Quality/Project Management tools 
    • Knowledge of Ford Systems 
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills 
    • Experience in Issue Resolution, Conflict Management, and Warranty resolution 
    • Experience monitoring supplier performance, Continuous Improvement, and Paynter management 
    • Experience managing Cross Functional Team-driven supplier actions at both Supplier sites and Ford plants

    Manager, Labour Relations

    Job Description

    • This role leads and coordinates Labour Relations strategy, planning, and execution across the plants. The role is responsible for building positive employee and union relationships, managing collective agreements, employee grievances, disciplinary matters, disputes, and external proceedings such as CCMA cases. 

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and coordinate Labour Relations strategy, planning, and annual cycle activities across the plant. 
    • Develop, implement, review, and maintain Labour Relations policies, processes, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements. 
    • Build and maintain constructive relationships between employees, unions, management, HR, and other key stakeholders. 
    • Provide expert guidance to business leaders, HR partners, and line managers on Labour Relations strategy, labour legislation, collective agreements, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation. 
    • Manage the administration and consistent interpretation of collective agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements. 
    • Lead and support grievance handling, disciplinary processes, investigations, domestic enquiries, dispute resolution, complaints management, and related case administration. 
    • Represent the business at CCMA and other external Labour Relations proceedings, including case preparation, documentation, coordination, and follow-through. 
    • Assess union dynamics, Labour Relations risks, workforce sentiment, and shop-floor intelligence; develop proactive mitigation and engagement plans. 
    • Promote a positive and productive industrial relations climate through effective communication, employee engagement initiatives, recognition programmes, and workforce development activities. 
    • Support workforce planning, hiring, restructuring, right-sizing, manufacturing footprint discussions, and wage mandate development. 
    • Develop and manage labour metrics, workforce demographics, labour economics, reporting, analytics, and budget estimates to support informed decision-making. 
    • Monitor changes in labour legislation and assess the potential impact on the workforce and business operations. 
    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory compliance reports and Labour Relations information to government agencies, regional/global Labour Affairs teams, and other relevant stakeholders. 
    • Design and deliver Labour Relations capability-building initiatives for HR teams, line supervisors, and operational leaders managing hourly employees. 
    • Support the administration of hourly employee benefits and resolve related HRBP and operational HR matters. 
    • Ensure site-wide adherence to corporate practices, the Code of Conduct, human-rights requirements and applicable company policies. 
    • Lead, coach, and develop the Labour Relations team as well as other teams , while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and high standards of employee service.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Labour Relations or Human Resources or LLB degree or relevant degree 
    • 5 > years demonstrated application of the required skills and related experience in a manufacturing environment 
    • A strong background in Labour Relations is essential in a highly Unionized environment
    • Demonstrated experience and successful track record in representing employer at CCMA or Bargaining Council
