    Dispatch Clerk

    Job Description

    • Freedom Stationery is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatch Clerk to join our Warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient coordination of dispatch operations including processing, verifying, and dispatching finished goods in line with company procedures and customer requirements. This position plays a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting high customer satisfaction levels.

    Job Requirements
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate daily dispatch activities and assign delivery routes.
    • Ensure all goods are correctly checked, packed, and dispatched on time.
    • Generate, verify, and file dispatch documentation (delivery notes, waybills, invoices, manifests).
    • Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, Production) to align order fulfilment.
    • Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery progress and delays.
    • Verify physical stock against dispatch documentation and report any discrepancies.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transport regulations.
    • Capture dispatch data accurately into the ERP/logistics system and compile performance reports.
    • Support team operations and assist with ad-hoc dispatch tasks as required.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric).
    • Preferred Qualification: Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management.
    • Experience: 2–3 years in a dispatch or warehouse-related role (FMCG/manufacturing environment advantageous).
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Syspro) and dispatch documentation processes.
    • Knowledge of inventory control, transport regulations, and OHS standards.

    Team Leader - Quality

    Job Description

    • Freedom Stationery is looking for a proactive and results-driven Team Leader to join our Quality Department at the Cornubia Factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the quality team to ensure that all products meet Freedom Stationery’s quality standards and customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of quality inspectors and quality control staff.
    • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company quality procedures and specifications.
    • Conduct in-process inspections, product sampling, and final product checks.
    • Identify and investigate quality deviations, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
    • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation.
    • Assist with internal and external quality audits.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
    • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to quality team members.
    • Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, and technical teams to resolve quality issues.
    • All information to be captured on Seamcor.
    • Ensuring all tools used are of standard, tape measures, steel rulers, verniers etc.
    • NCR’s raised against compromised products.
    • Action plans to be put in place to address potential issues and or issues arising multiple times.

    Job Requirements
    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
    • A Diploma or Certificate in Quality Management, Manufacturing, or related field will be an advantage.
    • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in a quality control environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role.
    • Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes.
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
    • Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).

    Quality Supervisor

    Job Description

    • Freedom Stationery, a proudly South African manufacturer of high-quality stationery products, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Cornubia Factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all quality control activities to ensure that our products meet company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate daily quality control activities within the factory to ensure smooth operations and adherence to standards.
    • Ensure full compliance with company quality requirements, ISO management systems, and customer specifications.
    • Conduct regular inspections, in-process checks, and product audits to maintain consistent product quality throughout production.
    • Investigate quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), while monitoring their success.
    • Maintain accurate and updated quality documentation, inspection records, reports, and audit findings.
    • Train, mentor, and guide quality inspectors and production staff on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
    • Liaise closely with Production, Technical, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments to support continuous improvement and integrate quality into all stages of the product lifecycle.
    • Assist with preparation for, and participation in, internal and external audits, including ISO and customer audits.
    • Oversee and perform routine inspections, testing, and quality verification of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, policies, procedures, test plans, and inspection criteria to ensure product consistency and compliance with internal and external requirements.

    Job Requirements

    Tenders Administrator

    Role Overview:

    • The Planning Administrator is responsible for supporting sales order processing, payment allocation, and key account management. This role also includes managing inventory, assisting with bid and tender preparations, handling customer quotations, and performing general administrative support for the planning department.
