    Warehouse DM (Inventory Management) (Centurion)

    Description

    Main responsibilities  

    • Daily planning & execution of cycle counts, supervise team’s productivity and investigations of adjustments within SLA & company guidelines
    • Accountable for shrinkage budgets through weekly & monthly reporting
    • Ensuring processes and action plans are in place to mitigate further financial losses
    • Identifying points of failure and finding immediate solutions
    • Daily Management of the cycle count team (T&A, brief, reporting, SLA meeting)
    • Control that all stock, slots and pallets are complying  to company standards
    • Management of aged, discontinued and suspended stock by communicating with the Downstream Teams
    • Proactively liaise with DFC,  Xdock and Stock teams to raise alerts and follow up on action plans
    • Support and encourage 5 S’s concept and other warehousing good practices across operations 
    • Liaise effectively with the Head of Departments, Planners and other counterparts in  Supply Chain
    • Build and maintain relationship with Service Providers 
    • Training and development of staff members
    • Any other Ad-hoc duties assigned

    Requirements

    Profile 

    The successful candidate should have the following skills, experience and attributes: 

    • Matric or NQF 4 Equivalent qualification 
    • A Relevant tertiary qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Warehouse Inventory Management role
    • Advanced Excel capabilities
    • Highly knowledgeable on the full retail merchandise cycle
    • Strong analytical ability with excellent numerical skills
    • High attention to detail and performance and deadline orientation
    • Strong ability to function in a high-pressure environment
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills
    • A self-motivated, solutions-oriented individual
    • A team player who is able to build relationships quickly

    Warehouse DM (DFC -Distribution Fulfillment Center) (Centurion)

    Description

    Main responsibilities  

    • Ensure effective, safe operations by implementing operational procedures and policies
    • Supervise daily the DFC team 
    • Oversee receiving, warehousing and delivery operations for DFC activities including inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
    • Schedule the team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
    • Inspect racking, IT equipment, tools, and machinery regularly and oversee general maintenance when necessary
    • Meet regularly with other warehouse leads to improve productivity and develop action plans to reduce loss prevention
    • Liaise effectively with the Suppliers , Head of Departments, Planners and other counterparts in  Supply Chain
    • Build and maintain relationship with Service Providers 
    • Any other Ad-hoc duties assigned

    Requirements

    Profile 

    The successful candidate should have the following skills, experience and attributes: 

    • Matric or NQF 4 Equivalent qualification 
    • Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees
    • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
    • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
    • Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
    • High attention to detail and performance and deadline orientation
    • Strong ability to function in a high-pressure environment
    • Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills
    • A self-motivated, solutions-oriented individual
    • A team player who is able to build relationships quickly
    • A customer centric, data driven individual with a proven ability to have delivered best practice results
