    National Distributor & New Business Development Manager

    Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of National Distributor & New Business Development Manager to be based at the Rosebank offices. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Executive. To take a lead role in the development and execution of effective sales strategies within TOP 30 Distributors to maximise and capitalise on sales opportunities and ensure the on-going achievement of strategic goals and objectives, particularly Volume and Gross Profit. To maintain responsibility for managing and developing Distributors to meet revenue and growth objectives while targeting key customer segments. To contribute to the strategic and operational direction of McCain.

    Purpose Of The Job

    • Achieve budget, Gross Profit, Nett Sales Value and Volume for Food Service;
    • Compile and manage the annual food service marketing budget
    • Drive the IO Route to Market Strategy
    • Develop relationships with key customers at senior level;
    • Participate in setting of strategic objectives;
    • Manage trade investments;
    • Assist marketing in the development of annual and future innovation plans:
    • Collate reports;
    • Network and create cross-functional integration;

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum experience/knowledge:

    • 3 Year tertiary qualification – preferably BCOM Marketing or Business Management
    • Minimum of 8 – 12 years in a managerial role, specifically in FMCG and 7 – 10 years across multiple roles within sales.
    • Valid SA drivers License

    McCain Foods Share Head of Retail Sales & Operations

    Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Head of Retail Sales & Operations Manager to be based at the Rosebank offices. The successful candidate will report to the QSR & Retail Executive. The successful incumbent will be responsible to To take a lead role in the development and execution of effective sales strategies to maximize and capitalise on sales opportunities and ensure the on-going achievement of strategic goals and objectives, particularly Volume and Gross Profit in the retail frozen category. To maintain responsibility for managing and developing a dynamic sales team to meet revenue and growth objectives while targeting key customer segments. To contribute to the strategic and operational direction.

    Purpose Of The Job

    • Achieve Retail budget, Gross Profit, Nett Sales Value and Volume
    • Develop relationships with key customers at senior level
    • Participate in setting of strategic objectives
    • Manage 3rd party sales and merchandising agent
    • Develop go-to-market strategies to ensure availability of products and execution of marketing in store
    • Manage trade investment from Gross to Net profit
    • Network and Create cross functional integration
    • Lead and Develop the sales team

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum experience/knowledge:

    • 3 Year tertiary qualification – preferably BCOM Marketing or Business Management
    • Minimum of 6 – 8 years sales experience and 4 years in a managerial role, specifically in FMCG.
    • Operations and Key Account Management experience in retail key prerequisite with demonstrated ability to lead and develop;
    • Sound understanding and knowledge on trading terms, contract agreements and anti-competitive legislative requirements.
    • Valid SA drivers License
