    National Strategic Accounts Manager

    Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

    • Lead strategic discussions with Headquarters on collective Pan-Medtronic agreements and communicate key initiatives and growth plans.
    • Manage total Strategic Accounts Management (SAM) account targets and performance.
    • Oversee the regional SAM team, providing leadership within the newly designed SAM model.
    • Build and maintain senior/C-suite relationships with strategic partners to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with Business Units to develop portfolio strategies that expand market share, optimize pricing, and establish long-term agreements.
    • Understand account priorities and tailor value-added programs accordingly.
    • Develop and execute business plans to achieve strategic objectives.
    • Identify and cultivate ongoing sales growth opportunities with key accounts.
    • Lead a team of experienced sales professionals, focusing on performance, talent development, and operational excellence.
    • Drive diversity and inclusion, and manage communication and planning across the team.
    • May participate directly in sales activities as needed.

    Required Knowledge and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant sales experience.
    • Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, and strategic account management
    • Ability to solve complex, undefined problems through analysis and insight; improve processes and team performance.
    • Proven track of direct influence on revenue targets, resource planning, and strategic initiatives.
    • Ability to manage a mid-sized team of sales professionals with a focus on performance management and business impact.

    Senior Technical Consultant

    Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

    • Achieve sales revenue and market share targets for a specified region by supporting EPS, Cryo & RF Ablation, Pacemaker & ICD implantation cases including programming & follow up, loading and giving technical consultancy in CathLab
    • Conduct on-site education and consulting, and support establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations in the name of Medtronic
    • Provide technical expertise to sales representatives, other sales functions and customers through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products
    • Support sales & marketing programs with specific complimentary activities as provided by the Marketing team
    • Ensure the highest level of product knowledge is attained and maintained
    • Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand
    • Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock
    • Retrieve all expiring product from field locations and return to the warehouse prior to expiry
    • All activities must be performed in compliance with the local Quality System
    • Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations
    • Travel requirement 50% of the time (this includes regionally and nationally if needed).

    Required Knowledge and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree of Health Science in Clinical Technology
    • 4+ years of experience in the medical device industry and/or working in hospital environment, technical consultant experience for EPS, Cryo & RF Ablation, Pacemaker & ICD implantation cases are highly preferred
    • Solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy
    • Familiarity with CathLab environment: Sterilization and radiation protocols.
    • Flexibility, dedication, hands-on working approach with ability to present technical know-how
    • English knowledge (B2 and above)
    • Crice certification will be transferred if completed, if not it will be provided.
    • Any experience as CathLab Technician is highly preferred in this role.

    Strategic Accounts Director Africa & CEE

    A Day in the Life

    Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

    • Lead the development and execution of portfolio management strategies for both public and private sector accounts, in close collaboration with Country and Cluster teams, to expand and protect market share, optimize pricing, and build long-term contracts and partnerships.
    • Support regional and local Strategic Account leaders in rolling out pan-Medtronic value propositions, particularly for complex or cross-border accounts.
    • Cultivate and manage senior-level (C-Suite) relationships with key strategic partners, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
    • Own and oversee the annual strategic account segmentation process in partnership with regional teams.
    • Advise regional Strategic Account Managers by providing insights on market trends, competitive threats, barriers to entry, risks, and internal account constraints to unlock new growth opportunities.
    • Drive implementation of growth acceleration initiatives within strategic accounts.
    • Identify and co-develop mutual opportunities for sustained sales growth with key customers.
    • Champion the adoption of new processes, best practices, and strategic tools developed by the SAA Center of Excellence across the region.

    Required Knowledge and Experience:

    • Master’s degree (preferably) in business science, medicine or equivalent
    • Minimum of 10 years relevant sales experience for a bachelor’s degree or minimum 8 years with an advanced degree. Business management experience in senior and complex roles.
    • Previous experience working in a regulated industry in Medical Device, Healthcare or Pharma in a multinational environment and/or consultancy background with a significant matrix component. Proven track record of developing talent and leading a team through change.
    • Customer and market knowledge: Understands Medtronic's portfolio and industry trends, anticipating changes and addressing customer needs. Possesses commercial acumen to develop long-term deals.
    • Influential Leadership and relationship management: Builds strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including C-Suite executives, as well as administrative decision-makers, aligning value propositions with consumer needs. Demonstrates adaptability and experience in organizational change.
    • Value co-creation and delivery: Customizes value offerings to meet customer needs, driving growth and enhancing customer experience by leveraging internal capabilities.
    • Project and Stakeholder Management: Manages large, complex projects involving diverse stakeholders, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and P&L responsibility.
    • Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, and financial skills.
    • Fluency in English and at least one local language within the region.
    • Willingness to travel a minimum of 40% across Central & Eastern Europe and Africa.
