    MBIS Regional Manager - Western Cape

    Minimum Qualification Required

    • NQF4/Matric/Standard 10
    • FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on Dofa)
    • Financial Services Board Regulatory Exams (RE5) completed
    • NQF 5 & NQF 6 advantageous
    • Must have your own reliable transport
    • Valid code B driver’s license

    Minimum Experience

    Property Risk Surveyor (Gauteng)

    Job description

    • The MiWay Business Insurance department is currently hiring for a Property Risk Surveyor in the Gauteng region.
    • This role is a support to our commercial call centre sales and Tied Agents. The successful candidate will survey risks and make recommendations on risk improvement and underwriting.

    Minimum qualification required

    • Matric/ Grade 12/ Standard 10

    Minimum Experience required

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a commercial property risk surveyor working within a team with a proven track record in surveying commercial property risks
    • Experience surveying complex risks, including manufacturing operations with a business interruption risk component.
    • Thorough understanding of commercial property insurance contracts
    • Any commercial insurance underwriting experience will be advantageous.
    • Fire background will be advantageous. 
    • Experience in the field of health and safety will be advantageous. 

    Deliverables include, but will not be limited to

    • Survey commercial property risks to determine and document the risk profile and to advise underwriters of any concerns and or recommendations regarding the risk
    • Building strong relationships with the Underwriting and support teams
