Your mission:
Public Relations Strategy:

• Develop and implement comprehensive public relations and communications strategies to enhance Mondi’s public image.
• Manage media relations, including cultivating relationships with journalists and media outlets.
• Able to manage agency support effectively to deliver engaging content and positive stories across various platforms
• Draft press releases, speeches, and other communications materials.
• Researches and develops messages on key topics for communication activities

Internal and External Communications:

• Strong business partnering focus, and to establish key stakeholder relationships
• Oversee internal communications to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with Mondi’s goals.
• Develops and coordinates the delivery of the annual internal communication plan
• Drives, implements and coordinates campaigns that inspire, engage and inform employees
• Manage external communications channels such as social media, newsletters, and Mondi website content (including Planetmondi, Sisonke and our mobile channel).
• Incorporate stakeholder priorities into the overall communications strategy

Government and Regulatory Affairs:

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that could impact the Mondi.
• Develop advocacy strategies and engage with government officials and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure good governance of communication systems and processes
• Upholds corporate identity ensuring Mondi Group templates are used
• Support and leverage Mondi Group initiatives and effective coordination with Group team.

Crisis Management:

• Serve as a spokesperson during crises or sensitive issues, ensuring timely and effective communication.

Event Management:

• Plan and execute events, conferences and other public engagements.

Budget and Resource Management:

• Manage budgets related to communications and public affairs activities.
• Supervise staff or external consultants involved in communications and public relations.

Your profile:

• Bachelors degree in Media & Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field. 
• Relevant post graduate qualification would be advantageous
• Valid South African Drivers License
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience within similar role

Your mission

• Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, the Creditors clerk will ensure that creditor payments are processed accurately each month in accordance with the agreed terms.
• The incumbent of the role must have full control over a portion of MSA creditors
• Accurate processing of invoices to purchase order
• Action the GI/IR report and follow up on any overdue invoices
• Processing payment proposals for payment run
• Creditors reconciliations to be performed monthly 
• Prompt response and resolution of queries (internal & external) 
• Ensure that suppliers are paid on time and in line with credit terms taking advantage of discounts offered 
• Ad-hoc tasks as required 

Your profile

• Matric | Grade 12 
• Experience on SAP using creditors module
• Finance related diploma/degree is advantageous 
• Minimum of 5 years Accounts Payable specific experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
• SAP experience
