    Store Leader

    The Mr Price Apparel division is looking for a Store Leader to lead and manage the daily operations of your store to ensure that the overall objectives which include store targets, innovation initiatives and customer service standards are met and exceeded.                                                               

    key responsibilities:

    1. Stock Management:

    • Ensure that stock is accurately received & unpacked to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.

    • Monitor and manage stock levels through defined processes (stock counts, stock takes, stock loss action plans etc.) to mitigate risks (stock loss) and ensure adequate stock on hand.

    • Oversee the overall maintenance of the stockroom to meet housekeeping standards.

    • Authorize write offs, breakages, recalls and returns.                               

    1. Sales Growth & Profitability:

    • Analyse sales & profitability reports in store to collaborate with management on required operational action plans, increase sales performance and monitor store expenditure.

    • Review and keep abreast of in-store product performance to provide feedback to support centre and enhance sales.

    • Identify and propose new opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness. This may include: in-store marketing, competitor shopping, partnering/participating in local events and driving new accounts/memberships per targets (if applicable).                               

    1. Risk Management:

    • Conduct compliance checks through defined processes (e.g. admin checks, store audits, visual audits, COMO (Continuous Monitoring)  reports, POS reports, health & safety standards, weekly hanger counts, security etc.) to ensure and enforce overall compliance to policies and procedures.                               

    1. Customer Experience Management:

    • Ensure and maintain the implementation of customer experience processes (through the execution of business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, customer experience plans, visual standards, customer feedback, general housekeeping etc.) to meet customer service standards.                               

    1. Leadership & Development:

    • Lead and drive the team within a store to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy in line with company values.

    • Identify & drive training, coaching and development needs with a focus on talent management and succession planning.

    • Recruit, administer & manage performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.

    1. Innovation:

    • Implement Innovation initiatives from Head Office to delight our customers and improve in-store processes.

    Head of IT: Infrastructure & Cloud Services

    Our Head of IT: Infrastructure & Cloud Services exists to enable and enhance IT capability to deliver on the group’s current requirements and future strategy.

    You’ll be working with the teams in Technology to ensure that infrastructure is available to run the services that have been developed/selected. 

    Your Areas of Responsibility:

    Strategy Development:

    • Translate business strategy into tactical IT strategies to address key business requirements, drive capability and produce delivery roadmaps & associated domain architecture.

    • Contribute to the development of the IT divisional strategy.

    Service Delivery & Project Execution

    • Plan, implement & evaluate IT service delivery and project execution in a specific area(s) of the business to align with the standard service management matrix (incl. SLAs).

    • Continuously drive IT capability to deliver on group strategic intent.

    • Contribute IT expertise & advice to influence discussions and decision-making within the group and respond to internal client requests.

    Financial Management

    • Develop departmental budget and monitor/control spending in order to deliver the strategy. Collaborate with other IT executives to ensure financial feasibility where there are departmental/project overlaps - where the primary financial responsibility sits in another department, there is always a secondary responsibility to deliver within budget.

    Risk Management

    • Keep abreast of legislative requirements and best practices (e.g. RICA, POPI, ECT act) to highlight risks to the business and ensure compliance at all times.

    • Track, monitor and manage IT audits and risk management across the respective portfolios

    Team Management

    • Ensure that the workload within the team is distributed fairly and in line with the team's priorities and skills to deliver on departmental KPI's / targets. Keep abreast of talent pool to contribute to the recruitment of top talent.

    • Drive succession, training and development within the team to ensure resource capability and business continuity.

    Vendor Management

    Facilities Support

    Networks

    What are our minimium requirements to apply?

    • A completed degree in IT or Business Management, or, similar relevant field

    People Coordinator

    purpose

    The Mr Price Group are looking for a passionate about HR, People Coordinator to help ensure the smooth running of our mrpTechnolgy & Centre of Excellence division’s HR function. This involves administrative support, assistance and co-ordination with the people management team.

    To provide administrative support, assistance, and co-ordination to the People Manager to ensure the smooth running of the IT Division.

    key responsibilities

    Recruitment

    • Maintain accurate HR records:

    • Ensure all payroll data is correct and submitted on time.

    • Ensure all organisational structure data is accurate

    • Ensure all People Admin information is correct on HR admin systems e.g. race, gender, reporting lines etc

    • Preparing payroll file for monthly verification

    Induct new associates:

    •  Schedule induction activities

    • Facilitate the induction of new associates on first day

    • Ensure that all aspects are prepared for new associate e.g. desk, parking, security disk etc prior to the associate starting

    Other:
