    Client Relationship Manager

    • End-to-end ownership and resolution of all client related interactions
    • Uses knowledge of products and investment markets to secure end-to-end finalisation of all client interactions.Facilitates problem solution across organisational boundaries. Responsible for managing reputational risk associated with complaints. Responsible for ensuring that service delivery to clients/intermediaries is consistent with best practice

    • Accountable for service delivery through own efforts
    • Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality for periods of 1 day to a maximum of 3 months. Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills. Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results. Accepts and lives the company values.

    Relationship Building

    • Owning the relationship with selected intermediaries
    • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with channel management and key intermediaries. Personal interaction when liaising with Clients / Intermediaries

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Able to convey technical or complex information clearly and accurately
    • Proactively and successfully build relationships with key planners and internal departments. Informing key planners of relevant changes in terms of products, legislative and/or other requirements. Keeping of records and tracking of enquiries
    • Gathering of required information in order to resolve client servicing problems, issues or queries as required by intermediaries. Representing and promoting Old Mutual at all times
    • Doing root cause analysis on errors or complaints and giving feedback to the relevant internal value chain
    • Receiving or eliciting planner or client feedback on service satisfaction
    • Working actively with support areas to achieve service standards. Delivering on adhoc assignments
    • Willingness to work shifts between 08h00 and 17h00, or overtime if and when required
    • Willingness to be available to key clients via cellphone. Willingness to travel nationally to visit key clients if and when required

    Personal Attributes

    • Computer literacy essential (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
    • Bilingual. Must present a professional image
    • Excellent communication (verbal & written) interactive skills
    • Strong interpersonal persuasive, negotiation and presentation skills

    Job Requirements

    • Matric
    • Tertiary degree (BTech or BCom), Diploma in Finance or CFP / RFP / Certificate Wealth Management advantageous
    • Training skills
    • At least 3-4 years Financial Services industry experience.Old Mutual Wealth Product knowledge
    • Knowledge of the financial industry complaints process. Proven knowledge of, and interest in Financial Markets is essential
    • Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry (i.e. financial planning, commission, product offerings, etc)

    Product Manager

    • Drive the future development and direction of the proposition.
    • Create and maintain the product strategy and roadmap.
    • Integrate strategy, customer needs and business direction into communicable, coherent product blueprints.
    • Consume and react to customer feedback to continuously improve their experience. Understand customers and their pain points, translating them into solutions
    • Leading change - drives the change process forward; maintains momentum and a clear sense of overall purpose and strategic impact of change

    Product delivery

    • Create feature epics from the product blueprints.
    • Communicate product concepts, the roadmap and epics to the team.
    • Own and maintain the product backlog.
    • Participate in prioritising the product and sprint backlogs.
    • Support user acceptance testing and implementation of changes or new applications
    • Monitor and react to changes in key metrics/trends.
    • Understand the technical debt and prioritise work to pay off the debt

    • Elicit and documents requirements including data modelling, interface layouts, data flows, and screen layouts, etc.
    • Understand effort between different delivery options and recommend appropriate solutions

    • Articulate business logic to technical partners
    • Review technical stories and technical logic of changes
    • Apply user science tools that strongly influences product direction

    Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

    Job Requirements

    • Degree i n Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing or Economics. An MBA would be an advantage
    • Relevant technical training (business analysis, and systems development life cycle)
    • Experienced in business and data analysis, solutions design & testing, data modelling .
    • Relevant experience as a Product manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst
    • Experience in the financial services and/or Loyalty/Rewards industry will be an advantage
    • Hands on experience working with developers
    • Ability to put ideas on paper in visual form (wire frames)
    • Empathy, intellectual curiosity, the ability to synthesize ideas and business acumen.
    • Ability to reach objectively good negotiation results, efficiently maintaining relationships
    • You are passionate about personal finance and believe in its life-changing possibilities.

    Actuarial Expert

    • Assisting management with reinsurance strategy including reinsurance partner selection
    • Assessing and defining reinsurance structures
    • Engaging with IT to ensure successful implementation of reinsurance structures and processes
    • Liaising with reinsurance partners
    • Liaising with other internal functional areas on reinsurance matters
    • Contractual work relating to reinsurance

    Pricing and projects requiring financial modelling. This can include:

    • Pricing and Profit Testing
    • Providing technical input during engagements with stakeholders
    • Developing new models for pricing as well as maintaining existing models
    • Financial modelling and business cases for projects
    • Business Engagements where input or data is required to inform pricing and/or financial modelling
    • IT engagements to ensure successful implementation of specific projects.

    Job Requirements

    • Qualified actuary or actuarial student with a minimum of 14 exam credits and 6 years’ actuarial experience
    • Retail Protect ion experience would be advantageous
    • Business acumen and negotiation skills
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and work on a wide range of deliverables at once
    • Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organisation
    • Ability to complete tasks within agreed timelines with minimal guidance
