As a Commodities Trader, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, conducting market research in the South African territories, identifying and sourcing corporate clients, achieving set targets, and establishing and maintaining strong connections and relationships with users in the industry. This role requires excellent networking abilities and a comprehensive understanding of the coal market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Devise and execute effective Marketing strategies for carbon products to maximize profitability and market share
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research in the South African territories to identify market trends, demand patterns, and competitor activities
Territorial Expertise: Possess an in-depth understanding of the South African carbon market, including regulatory, economic, and industry factors influencing trading activities
Client Identification and Sourcing: Identify and source potential corporate clients within the South African market, establishing new business relationships and expanding the client base
Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed assigned targets for coal sales volume, revenue, and profitability in alignment with organizational goals
Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong connections and relationships with industry stakeholders, clients, and suppliers to enhance business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships
Networking: Engage in networking events, industry conferences, and forums to expand professional connections, stay updated with industry trends, and leverage networking opportunities for business growth
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in coal Marketing, preferably in the South African market
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Excellent understanding of coal market dynamics, regulations, and trading practices
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and result-oriented individual
Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets
As a Stores Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the storage, organization, and distribution of goods within a warehouse or store environment. You will also ensure smooth inventory management and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and offloading materials for dispatch/receipt between Stores
Receive, check and process incoming materials for correctness as per delivery note and purchase order
Immediately notify the Store Supervisor regarding discrepancies in materials receipt if any
Segregate discrepant materials, so as to be returned to the supplier for replacement
Facilitate Store Supervisor in completing the GRN for goods received
Collect copy of GRN and arrange to bin the materials
Receipt of good and services
Daily, weekly and monthly stock take and stock reports
Responsible for quotations and commencement of procurement process
Initiate and prepare MPR
Submit PR on ERP/SAP
Follow up on procurement process
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Minimum of 2 years in Store Operation
Familiarity with stock control procedures, shipping and receiving, and warehouse operations
High working knowledge of Excel
Proficiency with inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Proven ability to deliver results and act as a change agent
